This Bamboo Ink Smart Stylus pen is a fantastic tool for writing, drawing, or selecting other options on my laptop. It actually does more than a mouse, so I use it everytime I'm on my laptop. And because it's designed for use with touch screens, it doesn't leave marks or blemishes, like my finger does.

Seems cool. I don't use it as much as I thought I would. I wasn't able to use all the functions on it either.

I was mostly looking for something to use in Photoshop and Lightroom to help me edit pictures and this is not compatible with either one so it basically works as a stylus. 4 stars because when using it for its intended purpose, it worked well and was accurately responsive to touch. Easy to set up.

Good stylis for Microsoft surface Easy to synchronize with tablet only problem I have encountered before was the tip breaking off and not being able to remove shaft. Bamboo was no help. Had to replace.

Learning how to use this pen & all it can help us do has been fun! It has helped make some projects easier. We are in our 40's, so still figuring out all the insurance & outs but really enjoy this new toy!

Not the laptop we originally came in to buy, but better and on bigger discount! Thrilled with the manager that helped us figure out exactly what we needed. Ended up with a better laptop for over $200 less!

I got this stylus to take notes on my HP Envy laptop for some courses. I'm not sure it would work well for fast-paced note-taking but I like it for study guides and visuals like drawings and charts. It works well, and is easy to program. There aren't many options for programming the top button so I don't really use it (I wish it could work as an eraser but that's not an option as far as I can tell), but the two side buttons work great and can be programmed easily.

The first Bamboo Ink smart stylus that I got I had to return because it stopped connecting to my laptop, but the new one I got works and functions well. The nibs it comes with are also a nice option to switch things up. The buttons are customizable as well (at least on the Lenovo Yoga 730).

A stylus is not used often, but when I do use the stylus, it’s light weight in my hand and easy to use.

I hadn't read any reviews previous to buying the computer which also included the purchase of the pen. I am attending college this year and the idea of being able to turn my laptop into a tablet and use this pen to help take notes is what brought me to want to purchase this laptop. Then pen is easy to get connected to my computer. The problem I had was getting the pen to actually write on the screen. All the other functions worked. When I took it to Geek Squad they weren't very helpful and just told me they've had other people with the same problem as me. Basically they said I could just return it or call the company. Not to thrilled with the Geek Squad's service. My boyfriend was able to fix my pen and now it works really well. It is easy to write with and is like a pencil to paper. Overall, if your pen works then it is really great.

Pros: -great battery life -design adds comfort and well built, w/ one exception (below) - smooth on screen Cons: - Top button breaks easily , at times does not respond. I know the top is meant t be used as a eraser, but this feature adds to it's weak design of the top. The quick option buttons are too sensitive. They are always opening apps w/o my wanting them to. -Stylus tip replacement is ridiculous. First off, it just gives you another small piece to potentially lose (wish stylus had a storage place of all laptops). The removal process for the tip may be more of a hazard than to be worth messing with this already fragile pen. -AAAA battery not as common as AA's but last long. Other than it's fragile state and sensitivity I really do like the stylus.

It's a good pen, I just don't know how to switch the tips, that's not very self explanatory - it requires an AAAA battery and those are hard to find - and the sticker they put on the pen doesn't pull off all the way so some residue is left. But it works like a charm.

Easy to use and works great for editing. Works well for adding drawings and words to pictures.

This was exactly what my daughter needed for her digital art projects on her Asus laptop. The only issue with the pen is that it has already lost a piece. It still functions but it hasn't been a full year before the top piece came off and of course it's so small it's impossible to find.

The pen, had a difficult time hooking it up, had to sign in to notes in the Microsoft office, once that was done, bam. I am having so much fun and every time I sit down I discover more possibilities. So much to learn it is all very exciting technology. It really works and after the initial set up, set up is easy. I have yet to find AAAA batteries, but will continue to keep an eye out.

Love the feel and look but the Device does not stay to the side of the surface as good as the surface pen

Some reviews are much harsher than needed, this works just as it should and for the price is a bargain. We asked at the store if we had and issue would it be a problem to return. They said they take it back within 30 days, no questions asked if in original packaging and with receipt. Well it has been used every day without a hiccup. Works just fine and we see no issues. Glad we did not spend twice as much for the next one up.

Comes with three different tips. Easy to set up. Connects well to the surface and it's pre-programmed shortcuts.

I like the feel of the pen in my hand, and the different tips are a great addition. It was easy to pair. The only real drawback is that I wish it came with a cap or holder so that it could be easily carried without pushing the buttons. Also, a way to attach it to the tablet would be nice.
