The Wacom Cintiq 16 is a professional device that offers good performance and quality for drawing and designing. I bought it for my daughter who loves to draw and wanted a device that was more focused on her art than on browsing the internet. The device was easy to set up and I did not encounter any problems with installing the software. It requires a USB and an HDMI port to connect to your desktop or laptop computer.

The Wacom Cintiq 16 is a great launchpad into digital drawing on a PC or Mac. I had been using Procreate 4 on an older iPad using an older Wacom pro stylus, and while I was getting some good results I knew I needed an upgrade. For me it was a choice between an iPad Pro with Apple Pen combination so I could utilize the newer version of Procreate, or getting the Cintiq. I don't regret the Cintiq at all!
I love the feel of the product. The screen has a slight texture to it which feels like you're drawing on paper, and I bought the optional adjustable stand as well so I can change the angle as I work. The pen is awesome and accuracy is not an issue at all. I was pleasantly surprised with how accurate I could be right out of the gate. I love the pressure sensitivity and I find settling into digital drawing on the Wacom is less awkward for me than starting to draw on Procreate 4 was. I know the color spectrum isn't as broad on this Cintiq as it would be on the pro version, but I'm not at a stage where that is a problem.
I do envision myself eventually upgrading my iPad and still doing stuff in Procreate or another drawing app so I can be a little more mobile. The Cintiq is definitely for use on a desk or table top as it has to be connected to your computer to function.
Overall I highly recommend this product - great quality for a very fair price.

Bought this for my wife who enjoys photo editing. It is very well made and works great. However, she is having a dificult time understanding and learning all the functions and abilities. Dont recommend for the novice steep learning curve.

This sucker has made my work flow 100% faster! The quality doesn't feel cheap and it at sometimes feels like I am drawing on paper. The pen is also fun to flip to use the eraser! I know I got my moneys worth because I know the drivers will always have support from WACOM unlike the competitors screen tablets. (I tried with 2 of those and YIKES) WACOM knows how to do it right. There's a reason it Industry standards.

This does not make you a better artist, but it can get rid of the frustrations into becoming one. The feel is very smooth compared to other tablets I had. There is no lag (for me that is) that is noticeable and it has a nice sized screen. Too bad there are no express keys, but you can always use your keyboard. Overall a great product, I will be using this for awhile.

This tablet has been great for animating and drawing! I've been mostly using FIreAlpaca and Toon Boom in conjunction with this pen display. The pen display itself is easy to set up and intuitive to use.
I'm only a hobbyist so I cannot speak to the professionality of the product, but for all you other hobbyists I can tell you that this pen display makes me feel professional.

Not reliable to with a MacBook M2 - didn't last a year at 2D animation college with student. It works ok now with a new ASUS Pro Art, but the connection is unreliable (you have to be careful apparently not to move it too much, like tuning an old TV). I'll update this review by the fall if Wacom honors their warranty. Unfortunately, when Best Buy prompted me to re-up their membership for $180 a few months ago I declined, then this thing stopped being recognized by my student's MacBook right in the middle of final projects in 2D animation degree program. VERY stressful. It works better with an ASUS Pro Art, but still seems to lack reliable connectivity. See you in the fall after we send it back to Wacom (since Best Buy can't help unless you pay them almost $200 yearly).

So impressed by this tablet. While it is intended for professionals, my son, who is 13, picked it up very quickly and has already done some amazing artwork on it. Setup was easy, pen is very intuitive. Software is very usable. This will continue to build his interest in digital art!

Works very well. No shaky pen lines, Pressure sensitive pen, and very easy to work with. Worth the price, did have a problem at the start with it saying "No signal go to power saving mode" but that was easily fixed with a USB box. Only problem ive had is the amount of cords in order for it to work, other than that, amazing product.

Nice tablet for pro to semi-pro graphic design work and freehand digital sketching.
I'd never used one before and was a little bit surprised that it wasn't portable. I tried researching it at tons of places and it was never clear to me that the tablet is basically an external monitor that you can draw on that has to be connected to a PC or Mac to work. If that's a dealbreaker you might want to look at an ipad pro for a few hundred bucks more. My fault for not gathering everything I need to know ahead of time, but it's still a great tablet as long as you go into it knowing what you're getting.

Purchased thus for my daughters 12th birthday. She loves it. Doesn't come with any software though. Contacted Wacom and was informed since it's a pro version it doesn't come with software but the gentlemen I spoke with emailed me a list of almost 20 apps and websites that offer excellent alternatives. Do your homework. Will not work with chrome operating system..

Pretty nice tablet bought for my 14 year old aspiring artist and she absolutely loves it! Only downside atm is getting it set up was a slight learning curve for me and her but other than that works well cant wait to see what she creats with this!
