Replaced my 5 year old Intuos Pen and Touch Wacom tablet with this newer model. At first I was skeptical of all the buttons this model offers but then after using quickly discovered Wacom really upgraded and streamlined this basic tablet to the point where I'm not reaching for the keyboard half as much as I used to. I can do most of what I need just from the surface of the tablet making working much easier. When working in Photoshop everything from brush size to zoom to cycling layers to changing states can be done from the tablet itself. I was pleasantly surprised. The overall sensitivity of the surface is still good and you have the option of using different types of nibs with the pen, some of which come provided out of the box, and the nibs are very small fine points for tight detail. I got a medium tablet which is even larger than previous mediums and, as with previous tablets, it can also be set up to accommodate lefties by changing the orientation in the options. Overall it turns out these are the bell and whistles I've been looking for.

Drawing on this tablet is such a breeze! The lines come out just the way you want them and your artwork always looks clean. The pen is amazing, I really love using the pressure gradient

This Pro line of the Wacom Intuos model is just great, everything works perfectly. If you're familiarized with this kind of product, I can tell you that This Size is the best, at least it works great for me, I'm a professional Illustrator, and a Video Creator enthusiast, and use this device for both. If you're a colorist, for example, and you don't have the budget for a Cintiq, this is for me the best recommendation I can give you. I've started my career doing colors for Comics, and I've started with an Intuos 1, just imagine... This is like a Ferrari of the Intuos. Sensitivity pressure, touch and a app Ring works perfectly, a great tool for starting professional artists.

Recently purchased. Still getting used to it. Easy to maneuver. Wish the pen holder would hold pen more securely as I am afraid I will damage it by it being hit accidently. It easily comes out of holder. Works great on all my computers and was easy to install.

For me a Wacom is a necessity, not an option.

I consider a Wacom tablet an absolutely necessary tool for retouching or design work in Photoshop and similar programs. My old Wacom (I don't recall the model name) wouldn't work with a new PC that I got, so it was time to update. To save money I got the medium size instead of the large. Because its a bit smaller I kept accidentally hitting the buttons on side of the tablet. After a couple of weeks I adapted to this new environment, so it's all good. Since the Wacom does pretty much everything a mouse does I use it in day-to-day computing as well. It's more natural than than using a mouse and takes the strain off my wrist and thumb.

I really can’t stand how this blows through nubs and scratches up the surface. Someone told me to buy a cover for it but I feel it should come with one or just been designed better. I love the pen and everything else tho.

I’ve been using Wacom tablets for year and recently updated for a new workstation. Personally I would not buy a tablet other than Wacom. Dependability and ease of use are what I count on and they deliver every time

Who needs a mouse outside of gaming?

I bought this tablet for drawing with ArtRage 6, but have now found myself using it as a touch pad in place of my mouse. This has had the added benefit of additional relief for my carpal tunnel symptoms. The included Pro Pen 2 is amazing, however a little big for my small hand, so I bought the slim pen for further improvement. The tablet can actually recognize which pen you are using and allows for separate profiles for each pen. The base for the Pro Pen 2 was almost impossible to open to get to the replacement nibs. Once my roommate got it open for the first time it has been easier since. The software could use some minor refinement. One thing lacking is the ability to copy a device profile from one pen to another. When I got my new pen, I had to create all of my settings from scratch even though most of them were the same. If the Pro Pen 2's base weren't so hard to open and the software a tad better, I would give this a 5. Pro Tip: if you have multiple monitors and don't want to be stuck using half the space of this tablet, use the "display toggle" function as one of the keys and only have one monitor in use at a time in the settings so that you get as much area as possible on the Wacom. That is, unless you really want to span multiple monitors with just half the Wacom.

One of my favorite purchases, I will suggest keeping the film on as you draw since there's lots of feedback on the pen's nib being absolutely destroyed on the 'medium level' paper they have on it. (Personally I went and bought an older model stylus for this tab) Otherwise it's a nice tablet size for any one upgrading from small, its durable and can take a bit of a beating if you're heavy handed.

I bought this to replace the same exact model that I had for years, that wasn't functioning correctly any longer. This tablet is fine. It's a nice compact size that doesn't hog the desk. I turn off all the external buttons and touch features because they just get in the way and complicate things. My biggest pet peeves are that the nibs wear down really fast and that getting to the new ones inside the holder base is too difficult.

Use it for photo editing on both Mac and Windows. Will connect by either usb or bluetooth. Bluetooth on two computers without having to re-connect. Still getting use to it, but it is really great along with the size.
