Easy to use and clean. Good quality has good price

Been looking for a foil type shaver to replace my old Remington and having a Wahl beard trimmer for several years this seamed like a good choice. It works as nice as the beard trimmer and is freaking made in the USA!

I love these clippers. Great for when you don’t have time for razor or just want a close shave without the hassle.

this stuff is not a good product. I have p[urchase two of them within three weeks and they end up breaking within a day or two of usage. I will never purchase this stuff again

This was pretty simple to setup. It was easy to operate and did not leave any razor burn like advertised. Pro’s: Easy to use Decent battery Side burn trimmer Cons: Not waterproof Unsure how it will hold up regarding build quality Summary: I think this is a good beginner, sensitive skin or low needs trimmer but if you shave daily or do a lot of trimming. There are better options.

Favorably compares to a rotary, actually better for softer skin. I have been using a rotary shaver for a few years and wanted to give this foil shaver a try to see how they compared. Several reviews have mentioned a “breaking in” period before they got a close and pull-free shave, and I think that’s normal any time you switch from blade shaving to an electric – whatever type you use. I had no issues with the foil shaver, and I think that is because my skin was already used to an electric. I must say that the foil head has much less hair-pulling and gives a slightly closer shave. This model is not built for wet shaving, so I was honestly surprised that a dry shave could get so close. Please be advised that using this daily will minimize the hair pulling and provide the best shave. Both my rotary and this Wahl foil shaver do not like having to deal with 3 days of growth, so grab it and give a quick shave even on those days that you don’t particularly need to shave for appearances. The upside of this is you can grab the shaver and give yourself a quick going-over when going to the kitchen to make some coffee, having your morning constitutional, or out walking the dog. If you have not shaved for a few days, don’t expect a “pull free” experience – especially if you have sensitive skin. The trimmer is OK but you need to take your time getting it seated properly. Not the most powerful for cutting barbed wire sideburns or ear hair but works OK for a touch-up. Cleaning takes some practice, as with all devices. You want to take your time and be careful with the foil head until you get the hang of the cleaning. Popping it up and giving a good puff pretty much takes care of it - as long as you do that after each shave to keep from getting any buildup inside the head. The shaver is not made to get wet, so doing that little “daily puff” is important to keep the heads clean. There is an assortment of brushes for a good cleaning when needed and keep the little bottle of oil handy as the blades work much better (and quieter) if you put a drop of lubricant on every so often. There is a nice little case to keep everything together, so you don’t lose track of the cleaning brushes, foil tool, and the blade lubricant. One last thing - OK guys I really need to tell you that if you get up before your partner and are going to shave while they are still in bed asleep – do not. Take the shaver and go to another room – it is a powerful little machine but doggone it does make some noise. There is a story behind this, but you probably don’t need me to tell it…. Overall, considering the price point I would say this is a good way to see how you and a foil shaver get along – particularly if you have sensitive skin. The 4 stars are not a criticism, as this is not the top-of-the-line shaver so there are some things missing that you will find on the more expensive models, like battery charge light, dry/wet shaving, quieter motor, and larger cutting heads. If you like the results and then want to make more of an investment – maybe then get the "5 Star" high-end foil shaver to keep at home for daily use and move this one to the car or office for use when you are “running late” or “working late” during the work week. Stay safe!

I do not recommend it. It is too noise and doesn’t cut well. It left some hairs you have too finish it with the regular razor machine. I had to return it back. Disappointed

The precharged item worked well for about a week. After that first charge, i wasn't able to use them unless the cord was in the wall currently charging them. Wahl, i would like my money back and or rechargeables that i can count on. You get no stars for the pair i purchased. The shaver never last longer than three cuts.

Overall, my impression of the Wal Bump-Free foil shaver is relatively good. The Good: - Nice cleaning brush. - Nice close, comfortable shave. - Pop up trimmer works as expected. - Instructions are easy to follow. The Not-as-Good: - Plastic feels very cheap and I worry about durability. - No charging light. - Protective cover does not fit/stay on consistently. - Pop up trimmer can be a little tricky to seat correctly. The Verdict: This would be a great shaver to toss in an overnight bag or for light travel. It provides a comfortable shave in an easy-to-use format. I worry a little about the longevity of this shaver based on the plastic body, but have always had good luck with Wahl. I would recommend this product.

Machine/Battery looses charge very quickly. Don't use it much for this reason. If battery goes low or dies out you can't even use while plugged in like others. Maybe I just got a defective one.

Nah man, just nah. It doesnt even shave you evenly i was over here walking around with patches behind my head thinking i was looking fresh. And it if you use the detailer the battery dies out like in 5 seconds, no matter if its completely charged

This is my first foil shaver and I can say it provides a very close shave. As is pointed out in the manual this shaver is very loud. A couple of things I think they could have done better though. The shaver is not very comfortable in your hand. Also there is no light or indicator that the battery is low or needs charged and when you do charge it there is no indication it is fully charged. Other than these couple of issues the shaver does a great job at what it designed to do and that is give a good close shave.

Only worked for a few months and broke. Wont turn on.

I haven’t had a foil razor in over a decade so I thought I would give it a try. I am not particularly impressed, but it can do a pretty good job if used every day. When I first got my razor it had been several days since I had shaved so I thought I would give it a try. It was pretty clear that wasn’t going to lead to anything good pretty quickly. I wanted to try the pop up trimmer part to see how that worked with longer facial hair. This was the most disappointing part of the razor. The trimmer wouldn’t cut the thicker beard hair, it pulled the hair and was painful. But it also wouldn’t cut my side burns which consist of very thin, soft hair. It would just grab the hair and painfully pull on it. So my initial shaving attempt was very disappointing. Once my face stopped hurting I shaved with my normal razor and decided to try shaving again with the new razor the following day. This experience was much, much better. When there is only 1 days worth of stubble it works very well. I used it every day for a few days and it kept my face fairly smooth and was comfortable to use. However even letting the stubble go for 2 days before using it again caused some grabbing and uncomfortable feelings. So all in all this razor is decent, but unforgiving. For me at least, I need to use it every single day or not at all. If you want to shave every day with an electric razor that will give pretty smooth results then this razor could work great for you. And in that instance I would definitely recommend it to a friend. But if you are like me often skip a day or two (because in part of an inconsistent work schedule or the weekend) it probably isn’t the best option. Or at least plan on using a different option on Monday morning to clear that weekend growth.
