It never really worked that well. Till I tried it ,it was to late to return it. I cut my grandsons hair every month. The longer I use it the more I get frustrated. I really don’t think it has self sharpening blades. Maybe I read it wrong. I use the 1/2 in guide. It leaves marks on their heads. And I have to keep going over spots. The cheaper battery operated one worked better. Could not find that one at the time. I thought this would be a good option. Guess it’s to each their own. I certainly would not buy it again. Will be looking for another as the boys hate that it takes so long till I get the railroad track lines off their heads.
