The Wahoo heart rate monitor was recommended as a compatible device for my new Hydrow rowing machine. It pairs easily & immediately shows what appears to be an accurate heart rate. The quality appears good & the price was right- the cheapest of the recommended HR monitors. I wish it would pair with my older pieces of exercise equipment, but the technology is not compatible.

I use this with a third party fitness app, and it syncs better than my apple watch. It's comfortable enough that I don't feel like I'm wearing anything during my workout.
