The version I was sent differs from the version pictured: the cover art is slightly different reflecting a more noticeable "Blu-Ray + Digital Code" silver banner on top. This more importantly means that the digital code inside is a newer Movies Anywhere code, not an older FoxRedeem.com UV/iTunes code (which is the kind that came with the cover pictured.) iTunes redemption is notably ideal since you can free 4K digital upgrades if movies ever get the 4K treatment, so disappointing but not something that matters to most people out there who just want the Blu-Ray.

Having been a Johnny Cash fan I was enthusiastic when the movie was first released. Phoenix as Cash kind of made me raise my eyebrows a bit but any doubts were put to rest pretty quickly. Now there is always the chance that a bio picture can be too heavy handedly and manipulated by the director but this doesn't seem to be the case. Also if I remember correctly Johnny Cash saw and liked the film before he passed and that is good enough for me.

Wife and I went to see this movie at a theater because Wife wanted to. As it turned out, I really enjoyed the movie and I'm the one who bought the Blu-ray disc! Jacquine Phoenix (don't know if I spelled his first name right) and Reese Witherspoon were great in this movie. Especially Phoenix. You would have sworn that was Johnny Cash in the film. And what made it even more special was that both Reese and Phoenix actually sang all the songs in the movie. Definitely worth watching.

I remember watching this movie when I was young back in 2005 and really enjoying it which lead me to know who Johnny Cash was, years later I bought the bluray and its better now that I'm older. Joaquin Phoniex does a fantastic job along with the beautiful Reese Witherspoon which made me miss her in films again. Definitely pick up if you love bio movies of musicians

Phoenix does an excellent job of embodying Cash and makes this film very interesting to watch. It pulls no punches showing his drug addiction and how June Carter seems to save him from himself. Witherspoon also does a great job of acting here. I was never a huge Jonny Cash fan, but enjoy this movie quite a bit!

I saw Walk The Line in the theatres when it came out so I knew it was a quality film. Phoenix and Witherspoon each do a great job with their parts. I saw this blu Ray at a great price so I picked it up to add to my collection. I'm sure it was cheaper than the movie ticket when I first saw it. Glad I got it.

This is a great biopic of the legendary Johnny Cash - a truly great and iconic performer with many classic hits to his name. Reese Witherspoon I believe won an Academy Award for her portrayal of his wife June Carter Cash. If you like a good biopic and enjoy country music this is a great choice.

Really a good movie with good music and some fun and sadness. Best Buy had it at a fantastic price.

Entertaining biopic of country singer Johnny Cash takes him from his beginnings, on through his military service and his struggle to make it in the music business. He makes it as a star and then his personal problems begin.

Not a country music fan but got this movie for a good price at Best Buy. RW as June Carter Cash was incredible. Worth watching just to see her performance. Learned a lot about Johnny Cash's life.

Not only is this a very good movie but is an important one as well. Must have and a must watch to know about one of the most important icons in country music.

Joaquin Phoenix IS Johnny Cash in this excellent film with music produced by T-Bone Burnett. You'll definitely want to get hold of his Folsom Prison album after seeing this movie.

Being a fan of Johnny Cash makes this movie a must have for my bluray collection. This movie is great to own, and the price is great too.

This is a wonderful movie that I had to get on Blue Ray...the quality was fantastic. The movie is amazing if you enjoy true stories about musicians.

This movie is a classic if you are a fan of Cash. If not you might not be as impressed as I was. Pic quality was very good but not quite perfect.

I'm very pleased with the new LG tv. I have a little difficulty turning it off and on, but other than that, it's the perfect size for my bedroom.
