I really wanted this stool to work for me. I needed something that I could use to sit on while serving at an employee picnic. I'm heavy set and older, and I can't stand for long periods of time. I went back and forth between the 24" and 30" stool. I needed something that would be easy to get out of. I'm 5'7", but have long legs so I thought the 30" would work. The construction of the stool was great--really strong. And I liked the portability factor. I thought I could use it in the lines at Disney. But it was just WAY to tall. I couldn't even get on it to try it. Sadly, I had to return it. If you play for the NBA, this will be a great stool for you. Otherwise, get the shorter one.
