  • 1080 version beats 4K

    4k color looks over saturated audio sounds over exaggerated and crisp. 1080p looks more cinematic with natural audio tone. Maybe if i get a luxplayer may look better in 4k but not betting on it. Stick to 1080p versions of movies that released before 2016 for accuracy if you’re a videofile purest like me.

    The movie speaks for itself, but this version is the best there is. Amazing picture and sound quality, plus the new features are a nice touch. Criterion doesn’t disappoint.

    An absolutely gorgeous 4K transfer, beautifully packaged. I wish Criterion was allowed to release everything, to be honest. A great way to honor such a special film.

    Although I dont think that this shouldve been the first disney movie in the criton collection, it was a beautiful 4k, and has some cool features with it.

    If you already own the Disney 4K version, theres no reason to get this. If you dont have WALL•E in 4K already, then this is a steal

    Wall E is easily one of the top tier Pixar films and the fact that it made it into the Criterion Collection is amazing. Great film

    For a Pixar film like WALL-E, it deserved the Criterion treatment, and the packaging of the film is fantastic!

    Great movie. Really good 4k transfer! Has dolby vision and hdr10+ unlike the Disney release.
