The summary of my complaints is there was no qualified person to install the unit for me. The first team that came in left the top part loose and hanging and installed the motor backwards..... After several unanswered service call, we went back to Best Buy and they replaced the unit and told us to get an installer and they would pay for it. We had a very difficult time finding someone to do. It is just an unbelievable experience. I would never buy upscale appliance from Best Buy.

Worst experience ever, I told three different dispatchers that the hood will be mounted on a tile wall and none of them relayed that to any of the installers. The first installer only delivered the unit, the second installer who was great very communicative called me to ask prior to coming so we didn’t waste one another’s time (which I appreciated very much) but the last one was a no call no show.

Average.................The Lights will not dim over range. For $1,000.00 plus this vent fan is a joke. The baffles in the exhaust rattle as well. Do Not Buy This Item!

Does what it is needed to do. No frills. Simple push in/out buttons for exhaust fan speeds, and light. This was a replacement for a different one that we had and was no longer available. All good for now.

You delivered a damage hood, then was told it was on back order. When we finally got the hood, we were charged $100 more for installation because they needed to put “extra holes” to put it up. It’s still not complete as the scope that goes above the hood, 36 inch was delivered when we ordered a 48 inch. We were also told that it’s on back order and will be “maybe delivered by the end of March”

Not sure you want to see this review. Three people with two laughing the entire day and not really doing much work. My hardwood floors were not covered and they ground sheet rock into them. They left a horrible mess. Didn’t have ladders and had to use mine. I insisted they put them away but only one was. Walls were scratched up so I had to touch up paint. They told me they had no choice but to leave a big hole in the ceiling due to the different size of venting. I asked them ti tape over the hole but they didn’t. My house from one end to another was impacted for a vent hood install. Not good service

My hood install has been a nightmare. I am on install #6. Each time someone comes they have some reason why they are equipped to install and say they will send someone else. But they don’t follow up so i have to call Best Buy again and usually talk to someone in another country and start the whole process over. Apparently my hood needs a four many install team but no one knows how to schedule. Literally don’t know what to do. Good is sitting my garage and Best Buy with total tech support can’t get a capable person here to install.

Everything went pretty smoothly. The installers had to move the electric hookup over to where it was hidden behind the hood and that was done in a reasonable manner.

I would love to give a review for this item but unfortunately I have tried to get one installed since February 2023. The installers have tried 5 times but all 5 hoods have dents or scratches. The 6th hood is to be delivered and installed on August 29. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this one is not damaged.

The 5 star rating is strictly for the 3rd party install team, they were very professional and installed my hood in a timely fashion. However. I would give the BestBuy customer service crew a ONE star if I could, they where terrible and extremely unprofessional. My sales person Kevin was excellent, but everyone I came into contact after was terrible! If you can find a similar product elsewhere, DO NOT buy it from Bestbuy!

Install was not completed. We did have an issue where ducting was not the same size, but no parts were left to complete install on our own (i.e. duct covers were left, but I cannot mount the duct covers to the wall or each other).
