Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did what I needed them to do. Mounting a SimpliSafe camera but the magnetic mount that comes with it wouldn't allow where I wanted it with the proper angle.

Good for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When you consider the price of the official Arlo mount, these are a no-brainer. No, they are not as good of quality as the official mount, but I paid 1/4 the cost per mount. Biggest negative I see is the huge knurled nut used to tighten the camera. Using a mount like this, you will probably also have the camera plugged in all the time. After all, who wants to climb up a ladder to unscrew the camera to recharge it when using an outdoor mount like this? The knurled nut is so big, it covers the charging port. However, I am going to try to get a smaller nut at a hardware store. Understand, it can be used with a charger plugged in if you tighten the camera onto the screw very tightly. In other words remove the knurled nut. But Arlo warns against tightening those threads too tight.
