It will only work with the second version of the ring video doorbell, the back panel is different on the original.

built very well good price easy to install unit is more like a battery maintainer than a charger.

Works OKAY as long as it's in direct sunlight. Won't work on a shaded porch or on a cloudy day.

Not to shabby, it does hold up its end of the bargain as far as keeping it charged. Mounting wasnt to hard as well.

This ring door bell works so good. It’s easy to use and the fact that I can access the activity through my phone is wonderful. I recommend this product. I also got a ring subscription for $30 a year. I can review the motion right then when the alert goes off. No theft at my house.

The solar charger is helpful to extend battery life but does not replace the need for batteries.

Does not fit. I guess it was discontinued also? I bought this for my elderly parents who live up north and it doesn’t even fit the ring doorbell I bought with it. I want my money back

Horrible, don’t waste your time or money I waited for a sunny week because it has been raining none stop in the afternoons and thats when the sun hits directly to the solar, well my friend i went pass my return period and couldn’t get my money back and now stuck with it FYI just buy the ring brand now that one works perfect

It barely keeps it charged. I put it in a sunny spot and turned off snapshots. I still have to pull it off and give it a full charge every couple of months.

It was a pain to have to remove the Ring every few months to charge the battery and we like to travel so we couldn't recharge. We've had the solar charger for a couple of months now so I can tell you it's working and recharging. This is a great addition to our Ring.

I've had it for about a month now and its working great so far. I was worried it wouldn't work because the front of my house only gets late afternoon sun light. It continues to keep the Ring door bell charged, even in below zero temperatures.

I fully charged it sinced it has been cloudy the last week or so. So far it works great. I've had no problems with it going dead. Yes , I would buy it again.

This solar charger was on sale when I bought my battery operated ring video doorbell. It is a no brainer. Super easy to install and you shouldn't have to ever pull your battery to charge it.

I was tired of removing the ring and charge it in the house... so I purchased the Wasserstein Mountable Solar Charger For Ring Video Doorbell. I did not have a doorbell. I thought solar would be the answer. Shame on ME! Best Buy came out and installed this... guess what? It does not work by solar! Look at the weather we are having... 90 degrees and sunny! I still have to remove the Ring and charge it! Waste of MONEY! And Best Buy was suppose to come out and remove the solar panel so I can return it! That never happened! Oh well, strike this up to experience. Very unhappy!
