    Bought two - two packs for my Arlo Ultra cameras. Not one of the 4 of them will charge the camera they are attached to. At one point I had a fault that it was too cold. Now they just sit there looking stupid on the side of my house. We live in the Northeast and during winter there is limited sunlight. Not sure if these things need full sunlight to charge. Bought this so I wouldn’t have to climb a ladder in the snow around my house but looks like I will have to anyways. These are going back as soon as I get them off my house.

      1. The Solar Panel is consistently in direct sunlight. It can absorb the most solar energy when it is in full sunlight for as much of the day as possible. The Solar Panel harvests energy from the sun to charge a connected Arlo camera.
      2. Make sure that your solar panel is pointed toward the sun and is not obstructed by trees, buildings, or other obstacles.
      3. Sudden changes in temperature may affect your Solar Panel’s charging abilities.
      4. The magnetic charging cable is snugly connected to your camera.
      5. The batteries have been fully charged to 100% before being connected to the solar panel.
      6. Please take note that Solar Panel is designed to keep your Arlo camera’s battery fully charged but heavy usage of your camera can drain the camera battery faster than the solar panel can recharge it.

      Additionally, because of Arlo’s firmware updates, you will need to update to the latest APP to see the screenshot to show the solar panel is charging.

    These solar panels seem to be working as expected. They arrived quickly and were very easy to install and connect. So much better than taking down cameras to recharge the batteries.

    So far they are charging its getting so cold so i hope it continues. I have used just the battery and it does not stay charged long. They are pricey.

    Highly easy installation. Quality looks good so far. It will take a little time to see how they hold up but not thinking I will have any trouble from these.

    Barely charge the cameras. Cord is flimsy. We get plenty of sunshine but these can’t seem to really charge anything.

    These came open and with all parts including the screws loose in the box. THere was no protective packaging at all. Very dissatisfied with the product and how best buy allowed it to be shipped to me

    These are great cameras. However I live on a very busy road and I tried every setting I could find to reduce the zones that turn the cameras on. The batteries died very quickly because the motion sensors were constantly triggered. I tried them with the solar panel also. If you live close to a busy road like I do then your better off to get wired cameras.

    This product will not charge the Alro Ultra 2 camera. Had attempted to return this to Best Buy and they failed to send a return receipt. Return window had closed and they would not honor the return request that was made within the return window. Would not purchase this product or purchase from Best Buy.

    Right now only using 2 of the 3 panels. One works great and keeps camera at 100% all the time. The other is not keeping battery in camera charged. Both get as much sun as possible this time of year. Maybe have a bad panel. Will be trying the unused panel to see it it works better.

    You should absolutely buy these if you don't like constantly charging batteries. Installing them isn't even hard, but make sure you understand where the sun rises and sets, because charging may be slow, or not even charging if it's not receiving enough sun light. You should adjust them from time to time, and clean the panels.

    Had one not work at all out of the box, the other worked. I returned both of them and went with the Arlo brand. No issued with the Arlo brand at all.
