    These thing are awesome. They do exactly what they are suppose to do at a fraction of the cost of the offical Arlo ones. If I decided to add additional outdoor camera to my system I will most definitely be purchasing these again.

    So far they seem to be keeping the cameras charged. I have them all installed high so that you have to use a ladder. I don't have to take them down and charge them.

Our solar panel, if placed in maximum sunlight exposure, can significantly prolong the battery life of your Arlo camera. We recommend that you charge your camera to 100% before installation to ensure maximum charging efficiency. Please also note that the charging speed varies according to sunlight exposure (direct vs. partial). Therefore, it will charge 1% of the battery every 2 to 5 hours. If possible, please send us a picture showing where your solar panel has been placed, just so we can check if there is maximum sunlight exposure? Make sure that your solar panel is pointed toward the sun and not obstructed by other obstacles. Sudden changes in temperature may affect your solar panel's charging abilities. Please take note that the Solar Panel is designed to keep your camera’s battery fully charged but heavy usage of your camera can drain the camera battery faster than the solar panel can recharge it.       1. The Solar Panel is consistently in direct sunlight. It can absorb the most solar energy when it is in full sunlight for as much of the day as possible. The Solar Panel harvests energy from the sun to charge a connected Arlo camera.
      2. Make sure that your solar panel is pointed toward the sun and is not obstructed by trees, buildings, or other obstacles.
      3. Sudden changes in temperature may affect your Solar Panel’s charging abilities.
      4. The magnetic charging cable is snugly connected to your camera.
      5. The batteries have been fully charged to 100% before being connected to the solar panel.
      6. Please take note that Solar Panel is designed to keep your Arlo camera’s battery fully charged but heavy usage of your camera can drain the camera battery faster than the solar panel can recharge it.

      Additionally, because of Arlo’s firmware updates, you will need to update to the latest APP to see the screenshot to show the solar panel is charging.

    Bought 2 and did not work. No indication of solar panel charging. No charging symbol in charge status box on cell phone, no sun symbol. Tried everything including reset app on cell phone and reboot Arlo base station. Returned and got 2 more and still does not work. Thinking that the current "work" environment results in poor workmanship.

    I read a number of reviews that stated these were not able to maintain a charge but then there were others that said they worked just fine so I decided to give them a try. My Arlo Pro3 is in a very active area with full sun. I started with a full charge and kept the solar panel in full sun, in southwest Florida. It could not keep the camera charged. Iretuened them.
