I have other mounts from this company but didnt expect this one to be my favorite. It was much easier to position the camera where I wanted it than other mounts.

Made it stick out too far adjustments had to be made. There should be a flat or easier option.

First impression: My first impression of the Wasserstein Premium Universal Mount is that it is a very sturdy and strong mount. It came with the mount, a backplate, mounting hardware, and an adapter for Blink cameras. The included installation instructions are very simple, but very good at the same time. The only problem is that the instructions are very small, and I had a difficult time reading the text. That wasn’t a showstopper as it is a fairly straight forward installation process. Installation: Installing the Wasserstein Premium Universal Mount is similar to installing the Arlo mount for the Pro 2, which I am replacing for this test. The mount comes with mounting hardware; however, I am mounting this mount to Cement block, so I used Tapcon screws instead. I mounted the backplate and then attached the body and finally the camera to the mount. Performance: The Arlo mount is a very strong mount and I have had no problem with it holding the Arlo 2 Pro cameras. There is one weakness that the Arlo mount has however. The threaded collar used to lock the camera in place is difficult to tighten completely. So when replacing the batteries, it is easy to move the camera a small amount causing the camera to loosen and no longer be lined up. That requires me to wait for the camera to come up and then realign the camera and re-tighten the mount. It doesn’t happen every time, but it happens enough. The Wasserstein Premium Universal Mount uses a thumb screw and can be easily tightened and holds the camera in place when replacing the batteries, making battery replacement a quick and easy task. Conclusion: I had never heard of Wasserstein before reviewing this mount. They have a large catalog of camera accessories for Arlo, Blink, Ring, Eufy, and other cameras. Besides these mounts, I plan on adding their anti-theft security straps for the cameras and hooded skins to help shade the cameras from the sun. I like this mount. If the Arlo mount held the camera in place during battery replacement, I would say it’s perfect; but it doesn’t so it’s not. While having the wait for the cameras to come up so I can realign the camera is not the end of the world, some days in the blistering Florida heat it can be a hassle. The Wasserstein Premium Universal Mount is easy to install and does a great job holding the camera in place during use and during battery replacement. I plan on replacing the original Arlo mounts with this mount. If your original mounts aren’t up to snuff, I highly recommend these mounts.

This is easy to set up, sturdy and very adjustable. You can pretty much point the camera in any direction and it's gets it just right. It stays is compatible certain Blink, eufyCam, Ring, Arlo. I'm using it with my Arlo Essential Pro. It installed quickly and easily with 3 anchors and screws that came in the box. It works inside and out. Mine is hanging from the ceiling and I can tilt and point it where I need and it stays in place. Works so much better than the mount that came with camera. Thinking about getting another for my other camera.

This is way over priced in the store. Either buy online for a better price or order off a different online store.

Had to return to store, due to that they were not compatable with the newer model Arlo cameras

I have an Arlo kit with 2 Pro 4K cameras. The kit comes with one indoor mount and one outdoor mount. The difference is with the outdoor mount, the camera is screwed on instead of using a magnet. Since I wanted both cameras outside, I needed a new mount. I thought I would try the Wasserstein mount, as it looked a little sturdier than the Arlo one. I'm glad I did as it's not only more stable, but easier to install as well. There's a base plate which you attach first. The screws are easy to access as there's only a plate to attach to the house. The mount, then snaps into place about the plate, completely covering the screws and making a solid connection. It can easily be removed if/when I decide to relocate the camera. The mount is flexible in how the camera can be pointed, allowing for nearly any angle, up to about 105 degrees from the the mounting point angle. Even though the Arlo Pro is a relatively heavy camera, the mount provides a rock solid connection to the house. It's still easy to unscrew the camera from the mount for charging (until I add a solar charger). This is a great mount that I'm confident will last at least for the life of the camera and likely beyond.
