Extremely buggy until further notice
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been playing this game for about a couple of weeks now on the Xbox Series X and there are a few things you should know before buying it. Gameplay wise, it’s an interesting take by allowing you to play as literally any person in London, but realistically you’re probably going to stick with one character that has the best stats. Perhaps it’s because I’m playing on normal difficulty, but I’ve found the game incredibly easy by exploiting the poor AI and using the spider bot to incapacitate most of the enemies and using the cargo drone to perch myself on rooftops for easy takedowns. The story itself presents some dark material similar to The Division, but then the characters mostly make jokes about it and ruins the narrative a bit. But the worst things about this game are the bugs, two of which I consider game breaking. The worst bug is the game’s inability to auto save while online: my first time playing I went for about 6 hours before getting off, and I returned I noticed I lost about 7 hours of progress. The only way that I’ve found to save progress is to uninstall Ubisoft Connect and switch my console to offline mode, which is awful since none of the Xbox Live features will work and I cannot talk with friends. Multiple complaints have been made about it, which apparently has been going on since launch date, yet Ubisoft doesn’t provide any information about when a fix is coming. It really is a simple fix: Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, also made by Ubisoft, gives you the option to create manual saves; the developers could at least give us that while they work out the auto save issue. Finally, some missions are bugged to the point where they cannot be completed and force you to quit the game. For example, there’s a side mission that requires you to hack different cameras to pull information by moving from one camera to the next. The problem is that not only does it not let you do that, but you can’t even back out of the one you started with. The pause menu doesn’t work either when this happens, so you’re forced to completely reboot the game and avoid that mission until it’s also fixed. I want to like this game, but the bugs are really frustrating.

Nothing impresses me anymore.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Some of the worst voice acting I’ve ever heard in a game. Every single potential character you can recruit looks like E.T. Every single mission is drive here, get to this area, hack this terminal and then escape to safety. OCCASIONALLY they’ll be a somewhat cool mission like the one with the house beneath the house. Besides missions that have you go inside buildings there’s no other structures you can enter. All clothes shops are neutered down to a kiosk with barley any variation to the clothes. The driving is atrocious. The cars feel light and heavy and the same time. Roads are too narrow and the vehicles are super slow (probably because the roads are narrow but STILL) They’ve actually removed hacking features from the previous games. Ray tracing mode looks good but the fps is supposedly at 30 but does NOT feel/look like it. I mean come on, on SX I’m sure it could handle more fps. … and the list goes on and on. Play the first one (my favorite of the trilogy) and MAYYYBE if you’re really bored play the second but stop there. Lol

An unfinished game sold at full price
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an ambitious, good-looking game that is fun to play. The fun does stop though when you load it up the next day and find that it didn't save your last two hours of progress. A month after release and the bug has not been addressed. Maybe wait six month or so after the game is done and it's half price.

Another Ubisoft flub
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoyed the original Watch Dogs. Played some of the sequel but it did not capture me the same way the original did. Prior to Legion releasing I was very hyped by the idea of being able to control unique people with different load outs and abilities. After playing the game for roughly 5 hours I struggle to keep my interest which is unfortunate because I see the huge potential. Oh well.

NOT A FAN
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best buy was awesome but the game was any good in my opinion. Probably because I've been playing Red dead and all of duty which makes this game too cartoony

Good graphics bad game.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this because the graphics were supposed to be super great and I thought that might help me like the game a bit better. Unfortunately it takes more than good graphics to make a good game. The story seems very left wing and politically driven. The game play feels the same as the last 2 and it is still pretty lame. The driving is lame and you can run down people without the authorities being alerted unless you bump a security forces vehicle then they start to chase you. I can't recommend this game I think it is bad.

Great game, bugs galore
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What I've been able to play of the game so far, it's great but riddled with bugs...one specifically on Series X/S (can't speak for the other consoles) where the game loses connection to Ubisoft Connect and consequently does not back up your save so if you turn the game off, you will lose ALL of your progress since the last time it connected to Ubisoft. As of 12/10/2020, they released an update that supposedly addresses this but I have not had a chance to test yet - will update review when/if it is fixed.

Honest opinion
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is ok there are other open world games that are better such as grand theft auto. I had a hard time getting into it. Gave it a 5 for value because I got it for only 12 bucks !

Kind of fun but really buggy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This games can be really fun at first. It gets monotonous after a while. It’s really buggy right now though. There seems to be an issue with saving. So you have to keep redoing missions because it doesn’t end up saving. Or the sound just disappears. I hope they fix this.

Ok Gaming
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good for someone really interested in programming hacking etc. It is a bit more designed in that area as opposed to the other titles from the same franchise. This one is more specific
