Better to be Solo
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn’t like this one as much as its predecessor. The whole deal with choosing different hackers to play with and “everyone can be used” sounded like a fun gimmick, but I found myself missing the original anti-hero and building them up instead.

Data loss on series x due to faulty auto-save.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game has been a let down on Series X. There is a huge bug as of this reviews writing that auto-save just stops working. There are no manual saves. So I’ve lost many hours of lost progress. I still finished the game by quitting to the main menu after every mission. Even then, this could fail. Ubisoft said their will be a fix for early December and has postponed online content.

Interesting mechanics but hollow sandbox
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game features an interesting mechanic of having new recruits instead of one frontline protagonist. But even when playing with perma-death disabled, the system becomes cumbersome having to switch to a different operative with each death. The respawn wait time for individual downed recruits, even with various character buffs to lower the cooldown, is still long enough to kill any momentum you might have had during playing. Picked up on sale for $15, which at that entry price the downsides are minor enough to give an enjoyable time occasionally.

Albion Something Else soon
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I despise ubisoft so much that I refuse to purchase any of their games. However, I saw a video game walkthrough online by a welll known tuber and was interested in seeing how awful or well I would do with it. This is an open world game, so there is lots to do and see within the environment. Therefore, one would get the most out of one's money by playing as much of it as possible. Seeing as how you die every 5 seconds as in other ubisoft properties, the replay value in this game is much higher than their other awful games.

Amazingly Meh
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fun game but a bit all over the place. My main complaint is you don’t play as one main character and instead continuously change through various “lemmings” if you will. No sense of urgency. Dumb fun is all to be had here, if your looking for a strong story or character development look elsewhere.

It's a Watch Dogs game
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly, it's like the previous Watch Dogs games. They are fun at the start but get a little repetitive. There was a bug with saves not working after playing for a long time in the Series X. I didn't experience that though. The game doesn't hold my attention long enough for me to notice it not saving.

Fun, but buggy
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gameplay is good, though a bit repetitive. I love running around in London after visiting not long ago; if you know the city already, it navigates as if you were there. If you've never been, you could basically play tourist all day in the game. Clever mechanics behind character creation/control. However, it is buggy...I've had more crashes with this game than any other in recent memory. So it might make sense to hold off on a purchase until those issues have been patched.

Interesting concept, but buggy.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game had a number of bugs and glitches that would require restarting the whole console. The seems to be the developer approach these days - put out an unfinished product and send patches later. Interesting concept to play with any body on screen, but it the concept does lose some of the interwoven storytelling elements and connection to the characters from past Watch Dog games. Can still be fun to play, but not as impressive as the last game imo.

Fun but disappointing
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Play is fun play and on the Xbox series x the graphics are great. What angers me and disappoints me is I got this to play online with friends and that won't be available until next year. This was not made ok known. Also, saving data is less than ideal. Hours of play were lost to my frustration. As it is released now, I would wait to get it until everything is working.

Mildly Disappointing.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this game after seeing lots of good reviews and was expecting to get more enjoyment out of it. The overall concept of the game is kind of bland and the story never really grabbed me. Also the controls and combat aren't great. I have not played any of the other Watchdog games though so maybe it's me.

Another game like many others
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is outstandingly beautiful around landmarks and the lighting looks gorgeous on the XSX. Gameplay is generic to similar titles in the series with all of the expected tropes. Choosing a team is interesting as are the perks, but the storytelling is pretty bland. Itll kill time, but its not memorable enough to suggest picking it up.

Stunning game but autosave bug on the Series X
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is really an amazing game and I can't put it down. The reason for the three stars is because the game has an autosave bug on the Xbox Series X where it won't save your progress despite playing for hours. Not an issue when I play this on my OG Xbox One though. Hopefully Ubisoft fixes this bug soon because it really looks stunning on the Series X.

It is not as good as the first two games
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is okay but the first two Watch Dog games had a central character, this game has a lot of characters to choose from. Sometimes, it is a little hard to solve the objectives in the game. There is a little too much going on in this game. It is the weakest of the three Watch Dogs games.
