Excellent product last longer then it say love it .

Apparently the good thing about Samsung refrigerators is that you only need to know if it's a long, skinny water filter or not. Apparently there are only two kinds. When I bought this in the store, I was holding my phone with a picture of the water filter on Amazon to show the Best Buy worker, and he saw it and took me to the same filter in the store. And he also said, are you doing a price match? And checked me out with the cheaper online price, quick and easy. Very observant and efficient employee they have there. And the water filter itself is easy to install, located at the front of the refrigerator so you don't need to take all kinds of stuff out of your refrigerator in order to install it, like some other refrigerator brands.

Original filter for the Samsung refrigerator. Very easy to install. A little pricey but easy to install. I don't trust after market filters after a huge water leak that a friend had.

My review is over Best Buy service, not the product. The store associate told me I had the correct model, and if not, I could always exchange it. I got it for my mom who was waiting for her brother to swap them out. He was not able to help her until about 20 days after purchase and found it was not the right filter. We brought it back in and were told the exchange window was 15 days, so they couldn't help. We asked if they would downgrade us to the Best buy brand for the exchange and they could keep the difference. They still said they couldn't help. I suppose its a bit of our fault for waiting and not noticing the receipt said to return or exchange within 15 days, but we both thought 30 day return policies was the standard. And on the front end, the store associate told me I had the right unit when I didn't. A bit of criticism to both the Samsun brand and Best Buy brand, make the part that shows model compatibility larger.

These are an absolute must have if your have a water option in your fridge. Individually sealed and easily stored, you get three to a box so you have almost 2 years worth before you have to buy more.

Sure, I could have bought the less expensive water filters, but they didn't meet all the filtering needs. For me, more is better and it's worth paying the difference. This model is rated NSF/ANSI 42 and "establishes the minimum requirements for non-health-related contaminants (chlorine, taste, odor and particulates) that may be present in public or private drinking water." It's also NSF/ANSI 53 which "establishes the minimum requirements for the certification of POU/POE filtration systems designed to reduce specific health-related contaminants, such as Cryptosporidium, Giardia, lead, volatile organic chemicals (VOCs) and MTBE (methyl tertiary-butyl ether), that may be present in public or private drinking water."

Easy to install after removing old filter. Not happy with the directions that require discarding three gallons of water before human consumption.

I have a samsung refrigerator and ive only changed out this water filter once a year it seems. We dont use the water a whole lot so it lasts us a long time. The water is good.

We were given the wrong filter at first, paid for it, drove 8 miles to pick it up and had to drive back to the store for the correct one. Finally got the right one. Was a waste of time at first.

It's hard to be overly excited about reviewing a water filter. Hence the 4 stars. It works, I've been using these filters for almost 5 years. it's easy to load and takes a little finger strength to unload so your young kids may not be able to just undo it willy nilly, which is a good thing if you think about it...but that's more the design of the fridge and placement of the filter, I suppose. As far as taste goes, after the requisite gallon you run through and throw out after a new filter it's all I drink. Tap where I'm at is okay but filtered fridge water is better and yes you can tell the difference. I have this product on subscription because it's convenient and cheaper, like air filters a sub is the way to go.

It's a water filter for my refrigerator. Makes the water taste much better. Wish my overall refrigerator worked as well as the filter. Everything Samsung is expensive.

I have purchased, what I thought were authentic filters from other sites, but they would have problems during operation. I have later found that they were not authentic, and now see why Samsung includes ways to verify authenticity on these filters now. These work well with my fridge and perform excellently.

I have been using for years and find it to be of good quality.
