I always buy this same filter? I assum it is doing what it is supposed to do since the water in the sink taste like clay dirt and chemicals and the qater from rhe refrigerator doesn't.

Works as intended. Easy removal of the old and install of the new. Just remember to throw away the first gallon or two of water. This gets rid of the initial residue and starts the water filtering. After that, water tastes great. I even prefer it over the bottled water.

This filter makes the water taste amazing! I have tried other brands but they make the water taste like crap ! This is the only brand filter I will ever buy in life !!!

I always buy the Samsung brand for my filters. I think they last longer so you are getting your money's worth. Make sure you get the right model and you are good to go!

I bought this water filter to replace the old one in my Samsung refrigerator. The instructions are quite easy to follow. Plus you get stickers to remind you every 6 months that you'll need your next filter. I highly recommend this filter if you have a Samsung fridge!

Worked great on my Samsung fridge. They’re a little expensive, but functional. Water tasted great! When unfiltered, my tap water has a slight metallic aftertaste. No more with this filter!

I know that I could buy just any filter but by buying a Samsung Quality Water Filter I know it will fit my Samsung refrigerator from the start and make the water taste pure. I have tried off Brands before and they don't last as long plus the water does not taste as good.

Filters just great. I can't think of a reason to complain about clean water and ice.

I don't use much water from the door, but I do seem to notice that my ice tastes better when I change my filter. When I purchased the store brand, it leaked. It made a mess and I was thankful that I caught it before I had a flood. This is my second Samsung filter with zero leaks.

Even though it may be a little pricy you can always price match. It’s better to get the samsung filter for your fridge to get the most out of your fridge. It may be a little hard to remove but can be inserted easily.

If you have a Samsung and you see the small red indicator light up, it does not, unfortunately, mean that your fridge is now capable of dispensing waffles. Sorry. it means the filter needs to be replaced. There really is only one choice for these filters at best Buy - and typically elsewhere. It's sort of like buying ink cartridges for your printer - sure you can by less expensive off brand replacements but you are also subjected to wording about the dangerous of using off brands, leakage, different filtering materials used, even dangers. The device itself is simple enough to replace, you don't have to turn off the water supply to the fridge, just turn, remove, and replace with the new one. Sometimes the removed filter will leak as you remove it, that's normal. If the old filter has difficulty coming out, just make sure you are pushing and turning the correct direction - like opening a child-proof cap. Expect this to happen about every 6 months, typically sooner if you also use a lot of ice, or have teens that drink a lot of water.

We bought the refrigerator at Best Buy and always replaced the filters.

My wife made me convert back to Sam Sung brand.... the knock off water filter according to her was making the water “smell bad.” I’m not sure if that is 100% true but it’s best to stick to OEM in most cases.

I was easily able to find the exact water filter I needed and received it in a timely manner. I thought it was very interesting I was unable to purchase it a Home Depot where I bought my fridge. Thank you Best Buy!

This is the second filter I purchase for my samsung refrigerator. They are easy to remove and install. I regularly change the filter since we use the refrigerator water for our coffee. I believe it is a little overpriced, but worth the piece of mind I'm getting filtered water.

My eldest son thinks our filtered tap water tastes better than Grandma’s (L.A. area) and Aunty’s (S.F. Bay Area), also may be better than bottled. Couldn’t disagree with that assessment. The filter can be expensive, but at least we’re not buying a lot of bottled water and filling our landfill with plastics. (We’re a family of 5.)

I have used these replacement filters since originally purchasing the refrigerator and have never had an issue. They can be a bit pricy when compared to non-OEM alternatives, but can be often caught on sale, on "My Best Buy" member discount, or price matched. Recommended!
