So this is my first experience with using these and I'm a bit out of my element.
Im one of those people who flosses every day for the past 30 years, my dentists insisted on me using this.
First! Before turning on, place it against your teeth... Because you'll shoot the person next to you who is trying to watch you use it, haha!
Second! Before turning it on, place against your teeth because you'll shoot the back of your throat and briefly choke on a jet stream of water!
Third! Before turning it on, place against your teeth and CLOSE your lips because youll spray disgusting bits of whatever all over your mirror!
To be honest, I'm not really sure it's as good as regular flossing, but I've noticed less irritation on my gums, so that's good news.
Hello there - Thank you for taking the time to post a review. The Waterpik Water Flosser has been clinically proven to be up to 50% more effective for improving gum health vs. string floss. You can read some of the clinical research here: https://www.waterpik.com/oral-health/clinical-research/.
There is a bit of a learning curve for new users. If you have not yet mastered your technique, here is a link to our how-to video that might help: https://youtu.be/Ia46JK-TvpE

The water flosser is great if your a person who has problems using the string floss. Ie..can't get it in between teeth or reaching an area. It also is great for persons needing to clean around dental implant, braces, hard to reach areas. Has two speeds. It does the job. If you are looking for a dentist version of water pressure you probably want the big version if you have room for it. But this one in my opinion is adequate. It does the the job.

Easy to charge. Great design with the access to fill the water chamber on the back. Works well. Best price in comparison to other waterpiks

Whoah - this is like getting a dentist quality cleaning without the office visit! Only wish it were a little less bulky so I could take it with me. Helps to stand over the sink and keep it in your mouth the whole time in order to not make a mess.

My dentist recommended I use a Waterpik because it's more effective than flossing certain areas by my molars.
It's much easier and more efficient than dental floss. I can feel the difference.

Loving it. Have the full size waterpik and got this for travel trips n visits at friends n family. Looks bulky but is actually comfy and light. Only has two water pressures but its all you need for travel purposes. Keep it on low to make the water last longer imo have to refill at least twice during use but no biggie cuz it fills back up quickly. Does what it's suppose to do and my dentist definitely notices I use it because before I never flossed with string. Especially helpful if you have metal braces.

I bought this portable unit to use at work after using the larger unit at home for close to a year with great results. Refilling of the water chamber a couple of times is necessary but you don't have to lug around the big tank to use it. This is perfect for either an office setting or if you travel frequently. For home use I'd recommend the larger unit, simply due to water capacity.

I bought this item for myself. I felt that I needed it because flossing with dental floss wasn't working as it should. Using the Waterpik Water Flosser gets gets into the nocks and crannies that I missed before. I am completely satisfied with it.

The waterpik works exactly as I would expect - which is very well. Charges fast and is easy to refill when the water runs out. The only downside, and I actually hesitate to call it that because of what it's supposed to do, is that it's a bit TOO strong even on the low setting. The first (few) time(s) you use it, you will be covered in water and so will your bathroom. Takes a bit to master it. :)

I bought this because it was cordless and rechargable and I didn't want the usual Waterpik setup on my bathroom counter all the time. It works fine and the different heads are good but it is large in your hand when using. I also squirt water when I start it since the controls are on the handle. It ended up on the counter anyway because I charge it. I used daily.

My first time using a water flosser. I only use the low setting. To me it’s powerful enough because the high hurts my gums already. I have a gum disease and my dentist recommend to invest in one these kind of flosser. It works and I couldn’t agree more!

What is a great unit especially if you want to keep your teeth clean. I wish you would’ve actually hold a little more water but I guess that’s the trade offer it mean portable other than that it’s a great flosser.

This is the first time I've ever owned or used a waterpik. It's easy to handle, the two speeds work well for what you prefer, the reservoir gives you ample time but if you desire more time for cleaning, just refill & keep using. Even after flossing & brushing, using a waterpik gives you a great feeling in your mouth & it's amazing how many more particles are removed by using the waterpik. The charge stays up for several uses.

I like this, its portable, holds charge and does the job while you are on the road. 4 stars because it just doesn't get quite as much pressure as the traditional unit, but I still would rather pack this then the other one. This is not my daily driver is what I'm saying. It does dry pretty quick which is nice too.

If you are like me flossing with traditional floss may not be your favorite thing to do. So you may find that all your cavities happen between your teeth. Or you may get food stuck between your gums between your back teeth. I found that this water flosser is a life saver. It is easy to use, and you don't experience the pain that you find w=when using regular floss....going to buy one of these for christmas for each of my family members.

I love this product. Works well and does a good job cleaning around your teeth. Others have said that it would be nice if there was a battery indicator on the product. Cannot tell the status of the internal battery charge. I also have a powered Waterpik and the portable Waterpik has a little less pressure to work with. Otherwise I am very pleased with this product.

I wish I would have had purchased this the first time my dentist suggested it. It has changed my mouth health so much and its so easy to use. Great device, ease of use is the best part.
