Customers enjoy the Cordless Slide Water Flosser's portability and long battery life, finding it convenient for travel. They also appreciate the multiple pressure settings and the variety of tips included. However, some customers note that the water tank is smaller than they would prefer and that the power may be less than some corded models.

Never owned a water pick device so I didn't know what to expect. I think it work ok but I don't think that you can completely abandon string/tape flossing.

Compact Water Flosser Ideal for Travelers

Note: This product isn't intended to replace the Waterpik counter-top or advanced series models. You may find the features, accessories, and experience to be less fulfilling than what is offered on those models. This model is targeted for users that want a Waterpik experience on the go (while traveling, at the gym, at a second home, at work, or have limited bathroom space for a larger Waterpik model).
In The Box:
- Cordless Water Flosser
- Three Water Flosser Tips (Classic Jet Tip for general use; Plaque Seeker Tip for general use and implants/crowns/bridges/retainers; Orthodontic Tip for general use and braces)
- One Travel Plug Tip (to prevent leakage during transport or storage)
- One USB-C to USB-A Cable (no block/plug provided)
- One User Guide
Pros:
- Compact, small footprint makes it ideal for people that want to have a water flosser on the go that they can keep in their travel or gym bag or at work. Also great for small bathrooms where counter or storage space isn't plentiful.
- Rechargeable battery via USB-C cable, no batteries needed. Can plug into laptop, car, wall outlet.
- Waterproof (can be used in the shower).
- Well built, feels sturdy in the hand. About the size of a large phone or medium sized flashlight.
- Smart design - the water reservoir slides out when you are ready to use and slides in when you are done and ready to store the water flosser.
- Truly cordless.
- Three pressure settings - low/medium/high.
- The Waterpik runs pretty quietly, with minimal noise.
- Easy to use right out of the box, just recommend letting it charge for a few hours before first use
- Reservoir is large enough (6 oz) to run for about 45 seconds, long enough to clean the mouth comfortably. The user guide does warn against using the flosser for 5 minutes in every two hour period. If you are someone that likes to use your Waterpik for more than a minute or two, I'd probably recommend a different model with a larger reservoir. Again - this model is for more compact/travel use. And reservoir is removable for cleaning.
- Tips are replaceable.
- My mouth does feel better and fresher/cleaner after use. I can see food particles in my sink after using it after a meal.
- Battery is rated for 23 minutes of total run time. Theoretically should only have to recharge after about 30 uses.
- Though they are not included - you can purchase the Toothbrush tip (to allow you to brush - with or w/o toothpaste - and waterfloss at the same time using the unit) and Tongue Cleaner tip as they are compatible with this model.
Cons:
The following two cons are not unique to this product or Waterpik, as they are cons for many modern electronics that are battery powered but should be noted in my opinion.
- One USB-C charging cable is provided, however no charging block or plug is provided. You will need to provide one of your own.
- No serviceable parts on the unit. I do worry about the long term ownership for this product as it is reliant on a rechargeable battery that cannot be replaced. What happens when the battery stops holding a charge after several years of use? Guess you just have to throw out the unit and get a new one.

Nice unit for getting your teeth cleaner while traveling. Compact and works good. Big issue is that it does not hold much water but to make it portable that's the trade-off all these portable units have. Fill-up - Use - fill up again - Use - you get the idea.

I will say that it works well, but it is awkward to use, you can’t see the controls while using it so it’s hard to change speeds. It’s also messy to fill and water tends to drip down your arm when using it. About that reservoir, it cracked after less than five months of usage. Overall it’s poorly designed, difficult to use and clean, and not recommended at all, especially for the $80 plus tax that I paid for it.

The portable Waterpik is truly a great device but if you're coming from someone who uses the larger waterpik religiously on the highest level, you'll notice the power difference right away.
Nonetheless, this collapsable waterpik is a perfect companion when I'm traveling. It's pretty compact for its size so it can fit anywhere. It's even smaller than an 8 oz water bottle, so there are no complaints. It's super easy to store and can be charged by a USB C, which is standard now. It doesn't come with a power brick, but I can't complain, I have plenty of those already and don't need to add another one to my collection.
It does come with three different tips for specific dental needs: the classic tip, the orthodontic tip, and the plaque seeker. If you're keen, you can pair it with the toothbrush or tongue cleaner tip.
There are three pressure settings for a gentle to maximum clean, and it is waterproof! Unfortunately, as I mentioned, coming from the standard Waterpik, level 3 on the portable cannot compare - which isn't surprising but a little disappointing given the price. Also, given that this is a portable Waterpik, you also have some other tradeoffs such as no way to store your tip, a small water reservoir, so you'll have to keep refilling it every 45 seconds, and emptying the reservoir isn't as easy.
Despite some things I wish could be better, it is a great device when traveling, and I would recommend it to anyone for that reason. But if you're looking for an everyday device, I recommend the plugin version.

The Perfect Waterpik For Travel!

I have always been a fan of the Waterpik product line, and I remember my parents buying one over 40 years ago. I have used Waterpik products off and on since then, so was excited about getting the Waterpik Cordless Slide Water Flosser.
First off, the Waterpik ships with three different tips, a charging cord, and a plug to use when the unit is packed away for traveling. The three tips include a general use tip, a tip for using with braces and other dental appliances, and a plaque tip. The orthodontic tip and the plaque tip both utilize brushes to help clean and get under the gum line.
Before using the first time, I charged the unit all night using the included charging cable and a standard USB wall plug.
After letting it charge all night, I put it to the test. The unit is fairly small, with a rather limited water chamber. I had to refill it three times before I was actually through flossing. I started by trying the standard tip. I had just eaten steak, and like almost everyone else, I had meat stuck in my teeth. I did not think the Waterpik would remove it as some of my teeth are very close together. I was wrong. The Waterpik had no trouble removing the food from in between my teeth. The pressure of the unit is really quite impressive. I had to refill it twice before I was through. After the initial flossing, I wanted to try out the plaque remover tip. This was quite enjoyable as I could almost feel the plaque being removed. Afterward my teeth felt like they had just been cleaned at the dentist office. And because I took my time, just like with the standard tip, I had to refill the water chamber twice. There was really no real reason to try out the orthodontic tip since my teeth had already been more than adequately flossed by the first two tip, but I wanted to discover how it felt compared to the other two tips. The bristles on both the plaque and orthodontic tip are not harsh or abrasive, yet they are firm enough to get the job done. I could feel the ortho tip get under the gums and around the teeth. There is no doubt it would work extremely well on all dental appliances.
All in all I really like the Waterpik Cordless Slide Water Flosser. It is absolutely ideal for traveling or for use at the workplace after eating. And it is important to remember that this unit is not really designed as an at-home-only Waterpik unit, but is designed for taking with you when away from home. I like taking my time with flossers, so the rated 45-second use limit for a full chamber of water on this unit is really not enough for me to get the job done on one chamber of water. But the trade-off is more than worth it when you consider what a hassle it would be to load up a full-sized Waterpik and take it along on a trip.
I would heartily recommend this unit to anyone who is looking for the ideal Waterpik flosser to use on trips or in other situations where a full-sized Waterpik is simply not an option.

This has flossed has been recommended to me in conversations with my dentist. I know there are different versions, but this particular one has been very useful to me since I’ve had it. I have had a lot of dental issues, and go fairly often now. As we all know going to the dentist can be very expensive, so having something in your arsenal that can cut down on expensive, and painful deep cleanings has been great. The glosser charges fairly quickly, and I’ve had it for a couple of days now, with daily usage and have not had the need to recharge is as of yet. I am someone who hates regular flossing, and this flossed actually makes me want to floss, and make it a habit, and I have been. I feel it gets in places that normal flosses just don’t, and easier on the gums. It’s easy to use, and although a slight learning curve involved I think almost anyone can get the hang of it with some trial and error. It is pretty powerful, and I would say be careful if you have any fillings that don’t have crowns on them. That would be my only concern.
