Battery Issues - Unit Dead

I noticed as time went on, the blue light would not fully illuminate after charging overnight. Eventually, the strength of the cleaning functionality itself was impaired and the unit behaved like it was low on battery despite charging it overnight. Finally, the unit stopped working altogether. It appears the battery was either defective or of poor quality. I expect at least 5+ years of use on units like these. The actual cleaning worked well when it was working. I recommend sticking to plug-in models only for Waterpik.

1st Purchase Died; Warranty Replacement Also Died

Unfortunately it did within a year....about 8 months. The good news: I was able to call on the warranty to get a replacement. The bad: the replacement died the same way within 6 months. Unfortunatly, the warranty period goes off the date of the first purchase, so I am out of luck. My recommendation would be to stear clear of any rechargeble Waterpik product.

A good product

But it’s awkward to pull apart and put back together every time use it and empty it. It’s good to have a big reservoir but only if you leave water in it. The top caves in and it ends up going into my water. It’s too big as well. I would Have returned it but needed one.
