It’s good, super bulky though. I’d get a handheld one next time so I could travel with it easier.

A Cordless Waterpik ION Water Flosser

This cordless Waterpik ION Water Flosser does the job without a cord. The unit is small in size and can be recharged in 4-5 hours. With regular 2 minute daily use, each full charge should last up to 4 weeks. The unit will automaticlly shut-off after 3 minutes of use and has an indicator that will flash blue three times when it needs to be recharged.
The Waterpik ION Water Flosser comes packaged with 6 tip attachments and more can be ordered online as needed. This water flosser would be great to travel with as it has a small profile and is rechargeable.

Quality is terrible. By day 2 the on/off switch on the pik itself got stuck on. Which obviously means it was spraying all over the place and made a mess everytime. I managed to mess with the switch and eventually get it to turn off each day until the 7th day when I no longer could get it to turn off. So I was left with the option of using the machines pump on/off switch for everytime I had to pull the pik out of my mouth with is at least 4 times each time I used it, or return it.
I returned it.

Very good product. Charge it and charge last up to 4 weeks. No cord to mess with and is a nice size, doesn't use a lot of counter space. It was a little overpriced.

I was looking forward to using this product and ditching (or at least reducing) my floss usage, but not sure I'll toss the floss away just yet.
It comes with 6 different tips to spray down your pearly whites, and has 10 pressure settings to choose from. There is a base with a water dish on top, a magnetized charging adapter, and a spray nozzle attached to the front with a circular cord. You charge the base and then use the water basin and powered spray nozzle independent of the charging cord.
I powered the device on after charging and it began to vibrate almost violently, including the spray nozzle itself; the sound it was making sounded like I was breaking concrete with a drill; the coiled cable made it uncomfortable to position the spray nozzle (this was more in my head, as I did not have trouble maneuvering, but kept thinking I would, due to the rigidness of the cord). It retains a charge well from what I can tell. I haven't had it 4 weeks yet, but I'm a few days in and it is going strong off my initial charge.
Once the nozzle is in your mouth, every thing feels fine. I was on the lowest setting and it felt fairly high pressures, so I cannot imagine anyone using level 10 unless they are using this to powerwash their deck.
Overall, it feels fine, but there are lots of visual and auditory things that will make you feel as though something is seriously wrong (and maybe there is something wrong with my unit). I think I was expecting it to be quiet and very still, neither of which were the case with my unit. If you can get past all of the distractions, this is not a bad device, but getting past all of those things is a big ask for anyone. I'd have to have a detailed talk with anyone considering this product, to prepare them for the experience.

I don’t care to floss, but as I’m getting older, I understand it’s necessary. I’ve considered buying a water flosser for a while but I just never made the purchase.
My only regret after using the WaterPik ION Water Flosser is that I should have never hesitated.
After receiving the WaterPik and reading the instructions, I made a commitment to use it at least once a day. The first three days told some time getting use to it. Yes, I made a mess of spraying water on myself and the bathroom counter. Now after a full week, I’ve learned how to use the WaterPik and not make a mess. Ten different pressure settings so you can adjust the pressure on your teeth and gums.
My only nikpik is for such a small device, it is loud if you’re trying to use it in the morning while your wife is still sleeping.
I highly recommend the WaterPik ION Water Flosser.

First time using Waterpik products!

This is the first time I use any product from Waterpik and so far I am pleased with how easy it is to use and the size of this little water flosser. In my opinion, one of the best features is that this thing charges and you can then use it without it having to be plugged in. The battery does last the 4 weeks mentioned which is great. I usually use this with some mouth wash to feel even more refreshed. As far as giving me better results than traditional flossing, I won’t find out until I go to my dentist, but I can say I feel like it’s working because sometimes I still floss my teeth with string and don’t notice it picks up any additional food. I am looking forward to what the dentist will say, hopefully this is doing it’s job and I can keep using it instead of string flossing!

Addicted!

It's been darn near 40 years since we used a WaterPik and after using this one, we can't figure out why we ever stopped! We were both addicted after the first use.
Cordless design charges quickly and has been running for several days on the very first charge - even with two people using it morning and night. It's portable, compact and has a removable tank that's easy to fill. Includes multiple tips - ones with soft tips, and others for hard-to-reach areas. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it is.
Probably understood but worth mentioning, it's best to use warm water! It makes for a much more enjoyable experience and less shock to the gums. It's almost like a mouth massage.
We LOVE it and highly recommend - run out and get one!

Overall, I really like this! I've been using the base model of Waterpik for about six months, and while I've liked it, I wanted to try something new. Going from the base model to this is like going from a garden hose with a spray nozzle to a power-washer! You can adjust the pressure from 1 to 10 on this (no adjustment on the old one), and I don't go above 8 without actually hurting my gums. I'd say the old one runs at about a 4 on this one.
The battery life is also nice. This is just going to sit on the bathroom sink, so I would actually not mind having to plug it in, but it is still a nice feature. I wouldn't travel with this given the size.

Great Flosser, Small Footprint

Just recently purchased and started using this water flosser when our old portable one died. Like the small footprint and larger water capacity. Like the adjustable water pressure settings and the nice assortment of tips included. Holds a nice charge and the cord is removalabe for storage. Less clutter on the counter.

I love this Waterpik. My dentist suggested I get one. I read all the ratings and could have gone with the less expensive one but I didn't have a close outlet which is why I chose this one. It has more than enough attachments-I only use two. The extras you can put in a tall shot glass. It is rechargeable after maybe a week of use. Works great, have had no problems and my teeth feel great.

I’ve been very pleased in the 3 weeks I’ve been using this waterpik. I love that I can charge it and then unplug and use it a couple weeks before needing to recharge. The tank holds plenty of water. Comes with many choices of nozzles. The knob lets you up dial up whatever pressure of flow you prefer.

I first used a much earlier Waterpik model when I had braces years ago (twice!) Back then, it was simply a no-brainer, I could meticulously thread floss through every single brace/gap combination or simply shoot some water in there. When my kids got braces, we dug that Waterpik out & they used that more than they ever used floss (it's obviously more fun to potentially shoot your sibling with water across the bathroom, right?)
This time, using the new Waterpik - ION Water Flosser was no disappointment! After orthodontia and a couple crowns, I've got some odd spaces & "ledges" on my teeth that really like to collect things. The Waterpik - ION Water Flosser makes quick work of the cleaning, seems a little less bothersome than constantly flossing and the 30 second indicators really help make sure that you take a full couple minutes and get every area well. Flossing often feels like it's simply pushing things around vs. removing them, so the whole notion of flushing food & plaque out of the way is refreshing.
Great product & a must for braces!

So easy to set up and use.. Love that is cordless and small. Feel like I get a cleaning. The vents on the top let the container dry out nicely preventing any mold or growth. Great design
