This was recommended by several people and it's proven to be a great asset to maintaining my dental routine. I just had two implants done, and with close-together teeth, this is just a better option for me than using dental floss. I like the wide variety of tips for various purposes, and the small on-board storage area for your favorites. It's small enough to travel with, but I doubt that I'd do that. I was surprised that even after a thorough brushing, this machine gets my teeth still cleaner. The function is wonderful. It works well. There are a wide range of settings of "jet" strength, and new users should be aware that the higher end, stronger jets of water are VERY strong. Don't be tempted to spin that dial all the way to the highest setting thinking if a little works, a lot will work better. I would recommend starting on a lower setting and only going up one tick at a time to see how it feels and what works best for you, not flipping the dial immediately all the way to the strongest setting. The only drawback for me is the noise! It sounds like a lawn mower in August and vibrates like it's getting ready to walk off the bathroom counter (it doesn't)! But it works! It works well! I can overlook the noise and the vibration, but if you're going to use this at night, be nice and do it before everybody else gets to sleep....

I bought the Waterpik Ultra Water Flosser to replace a different product. It is more effective in cleaning around my gums, easier to use, and built more sturdily. It is also easy to keep clean. I am looking forward to a great dental check-up.

I really like this water flosser, and so does my dentist. It's easy to set up and use and VERY THOROUGH in cleaning, especially if you have hard to floss teeth (or hate flossing). I really like the different attachments and the adjustable water pressure. You will be happy you bought this item.

Was a bit skeptical of needing a water flosser, but after reading positive reviews (and needing some gum work done recently) I bought one and have been using it for a few weeks now. Don't know medically if its improving things, but my mouth feels very clean afterwards. I'm still experimenting with the different tips it comes with. Its noisy, but is more compact than I was expecting. I like it.

I purchased this water pik after my dentist suggested I purchase one. I did not realize that this one did not come with the one that has a refillable handle. For some reason I thought that by placing the handle on the base, it would refill the handle with the water in the basin, however that has not made it any less functional or appealing. It comes with several different pik heads and has an intensity setting up to 10. I normally keep mine around 2-4 and that is sufficient so I can only imagine what 10 feels like. I have used it with water and with 1/2 water 1/2 mouth mash and have had no issues. The only thing that is somewhat bothersome is how loud the machine is. This could be the nature of water piks as this is my first one, but it is a low rumble for sure. If you have a partner that is a light sleeper, I would shut the bathroom door before starting it up!

Easy to use, and I like the adjustable pressure. The small compartment on the top holds all of your extra tips to keep them out of the way and is really easy to remove.

Purchased this as a gift for my parents. They love how good it works and just how easy it was to set up and use. They tell me all three time how much cleaner they feel their teeth are getting versus using the regular toothbrush.

* Excessive noise may disturb
* 10 Pressure levels seems unnecessary, for me max level is 4
* Cleans perfectly

We have two of these Waterpick Water Flossers. It works very well in getting between teeth and cleaning around the base of your teeth to promote healthy gums. It comes with a number of attachments, a flossing tip, a tip for cleaning around braces and about five others. I would definitely recommend this to friends.

This product is engineering genius! It easily get rids of all food particles that gets stuck on your teeth after meal. When you use it, you can see all those food bits comes out without the hassle of hurting your gums using a string flosser.

Bought this for my son who is 12 years old.... he is able to use it without me having to help him. It's easy to use and holds alot of water in the well. So it requires less refilling than ahand held unit. It also had different levels of intensity so you can make the stream of water easier or harder. Love it

Compact unit, easy to use. The reason for 4 stars is the tip leaks even when pushed into the wand firmly. Not a lot, just enough to be annoying.

I was having problems with my gums being soft and bleeding. I bought the water pick and 2-3 days after my gums felt back to normal again. I now use it regularly and there are enough attachments that my kids are able use it for their braces.

This is my 1st time using water flosser, so I can’t compare to other products; however the concept of water flossing at home is great! According to my dentist, I needed deep cleaning several months ago. Two weeks before my appointment for that deep cleaning, I bought this product and used practically every night. Two weeks later at the dentist’s office: they were amazed at the difference and decided that regular cleaning would be appropriate now - my gums appeared healthy.
I am mixing Listerine with water.
The only dislike is how loud it is, but because of the results, I am still keeping the rating at 5 stars.

very noisy like a jackhammer and not as powerful as our older Phillips flosser, but it does work ok.

The Waterpik Ultra Water Flosser woks well and the design is an improvement over the older model I have. It's a little more compact too. I think it may not be quite as powerful as the older one, but it has plenty of force and is more adjustable. The only problem I had with the older model is that the small water line tended to bind and eventually started leaking. The new model seems to have a better storage area for the line.
