Got this at the suggestion of my hygienist and it’s very easy to use and does a great job cleaning. The kids had one and spoke highly of it so I’m glad I got one for myself. Clean up is easy and it doesn’t take up too much space. Would recommend!

So I was at the dentist and she had informed me I really needed to buy a Waterpik in order to keep my gums healthy. I hate flossing and have reluctantly done it forever and it turns out with my teeth that it wasn't really effective. Getting the water flosser changed everything. Now my gums feel better and my mouth is so clean. The design of this product is smart. It has plenty of attachements. The black is a nice change of color for tooth care appliances (like toothbrushes and such). It has been really great. Works very well. IN addition BestBuy had the best price for the product.

    Power wash for your Teeth....

I am new to using a water pick, though I do find it is oddly satisfying to power wash your teeth after a meal. While I have used floss for years, especially if trapped food can be "felt," I find the water pick has the advantage of cleaning out the crease at the edge of the gum line at the same time. (Yes, a tooth brush can do the same, but that is two steps) Using this is relatively easy. One quick lesson learned is to make sure the water reservoir is pressed into place securely or the valve will not open. I found this out when trying to prime it for the first time. (Priming should only take a few seconds) Another lesson learned it to use warmer water since spraying one's teeth with cool water can be less comfortable. Similar to others' reviews, this will make a mess of your sink and mirror if you try to keep your mouth open more than enough to drool out the water. Since using a mirror is not logistically feasible, it helps to GENTLY feel the nozzle drag along the gum line and cracks between your teeth to make sure you do not miss anything. Finally, as I run the tap to get the water warm, and fill the reservoir, I am reminded of the old reminder to turn off the faucet when brushing one's teeth. Using this unit will ultimately waste water, unless you keep it in an areas that is constantly used and stays warm. I am not sure if I really want to keep this in my kitchen though.... Overall, and expensive addition to teeth cleaning that adds an additional level of clean....

    Does the job

This item does the job and is good value for the price. However, depending on where your electrical outlets are in the bathroom, this could be an issue for some couples. While it has a lengthy cord, who really wants to stretch it out in a bathroom where you are using water. If you're short on counter space, I'd look at upgrading to a cordless. Also, when you turn it on, water shoots out. You have to hold your finger on the pause button. I feel like that's a design flaw. The button on the pik should be to shoot water, not hold it back. That being said, I like this product, because as stated earlier, it does the clean of cleaning out food particles between your teeth.

I’ve always wanted to get one of these but never took the plunge until now. Flossing was never my strong suit, and this makes it so easy! My teeth have never felt cleaner. It’s easy to use and it came with plenty of attachments. It also doesn’t take a lot of counter space. Takes about a minute or two to go through the whole process which is no time at all. I use it every day twice a day. I’m so happy with this purchase and I’m looking forward to my next cleaning to see if it really makes a difference!

I've always had some problem or another with my teeth/gums so I decided to try this product because my flossing wasn't effective enough. After using consistently for a few weeks I can say my gums are a healthy pink and my mouth feels fresher longer on an average day. Also a visit to my dentist got me a "great hygiene" compliment from my dentist and hygienist! Product is decent size so fits nicely in the corner of my counter. Drawback for those like me that don't like to see cords is if the outlet isn't where you want to place the product.

Works great! I always use it prior to brushing to get rid of food particles. My dentist thinks I am trying to put him out of business by using it. I haven't had a cavity for over 30 years, and have been using the waterpik for most of that time. I liked the earlier version which was quieter, but the Water Police (my words) told Waterpik (what they told me when I complained) they had to reduce the waterflow and that increased the noise. My wife mixes mouthwash with the water in the tank, and flosses with that; she likes it. I would give it five stars, but I have had to buy three during the last 20 years because the hand-held starts to leak.

I've had a water pik for years but never really liked it. It was hard to take the tip out to clean and I really didn't like using it. This waterpik works really well. It's easy to use, and easy to release the tip and clean it each time I use it. It also coils up nicely back into the stand so it doesn't sprawl across the counter. The only drawback I can see is that I have to push down on the tip before I use it to make sure it's seated, but that's easy, and for the ease of cleaning I'll take that tradeoff.

Absolutely love this flossing machine. All the different picks helps me with my oral care. It’s very powerful, and blast away food from my mouth, no more bad breath days since purchasing. It is a bit loud, but I’ll take the trade off.

This is a solidly built water flosser. So much better than the Phillips that I had before. It's stronger and has more settings to adjust the water flow. It's also easy to clean and maintain.

Like the water pressure and variety of flossers available. Easy to use. Doesn't take up a lot of space on counter and easy to store. Teeth feel really cleaning and refreshing. Recommended by my dentist due to plaque build-up. Should have bought this sooner. Highly recommend to others

Well packaged, compact unit, works effectively and with very little mess. First time WaterPik user finding it very convenient to use and simple, with excellent instructions and adjustability. Cute little thing reminds me of the original Star WarsStorm trooopers' helmets every time I see it. Best Buy price was unbeatable and sales guy applied a 20% Appliance coupon on top of that. Very happy with purchase and the product itself.

This is a very good solid water flosser. It doesn’t take up too much space and is easy to use. The price is good, as well. The only downside (and this is minor) is the cover/tip holder. It just sits on top rather than being hinged. Also, mine came apart easily (not a big deal, you just have to snap it back together), All in all a very good purchase.

Rather compact in size which is good if you have limited space in your counter. But light plastic in design makes it feel flimsy and cable was too tightly wound that stretching it would pull the unit along with it. Water pressure was good but would have preferred a press button water release instead of a ON/OFF switch which meant water is squirted out all the time once it's ON and not when in demand. But it worked as intended which is good.

This Waterpik happens to be one of my favorite items when it comes to dental hygiene. This Waterpik work phenomenally. It has several different flossing heads that can be changed out. Some have brushes to help scrub some of the plaque off that is more concentrated, there are others that have longer bristles, some without any bristles at all (so all you get is the pulsating water) and there is one head that is designed to actually clean under the inside of the top layer of your gums. You can put mouth wash in the basin instead of/ or in addition to water. The only thing I know for sure, is that I have ALWAYS hated flossing. so I never did until I got this. Now its actually kind of fun and it works so well that my gingivitis has now begun to recede. HOWEVER, there is one MAJOR flaw and that is why I only gave it a 3/5 and that is the amount of noise that it produces when being used. There is a pump inside that is used to consistently pump a continuous and strong stream of water powerful enough to get plaque and debris off of your teeth. It is so loud, I can not use it when anyone is asleep because it wakes them all up because it has the sound of a jack hammer and I am not exaggerating when I say it's not quiet. On the box they say its the "quietest" model yet. If that really is the case, they still have some work to do in terms of allowing usage of this product at any time of the day or night. Overall, though, if you don't care about the noise, then this is the PERFECT product for you because it works better than actual dental floss and best of all is there is no bleeding like you get from actual dental floss.

This purchase was a replacement for another type of water flosser, I'm glad I purchased it. It is crazy how much stuff sticks below your gum-line - I love knowing that I'm getting as clean as possible each night before going to bed - It also helps on the dental bills - my recent dental visit my hygienist noticed that I had been "flossing" more than usual - I've always been worried about my dental care and this has helped me control as much of dental health as I possibly can.

This is a great product. It works how I think it should. I use it everyday and it clears a lot of gunk. Use it both with traditional flossing and bam. Your gums are clean. Doesn't take too much space but you need a bit of space for it. The settings from low to high is 1-10 and around 5, the pressure is good enough 7 is max for me as it hurts my gums then. But the pressure system works real well. I don't know how this product or any product could be better.
