It’s a nice hdd. There are bigger ones and faster ones but these are a mainstay of desktops and traditionally WD Black has been very reliable. I’m sure this one will be too.

Bought this to add supplemental storage in a new PC build. Drive is quiet and easy to install. Great solution until SSD drives come down some in price.

This hard drive works great in my server as a backup location for photos music etc. quick read write speed don’t ever have to worry because this product is very reliable and worth the price.

After my DVR Hard drive failed, I replaced it with this model. I guess its 64MB Cache helps to rewind the recording faster. 5 years of warranty for this product. You can't beat this deal!!.

I got this drive to be used primarily for backups. Speed is great and have had no problems. Be advised that this drive does not come with a SATA cable. You will want to get a 6GB cable.

Always have used WD hard drives. While they don't last a lifetime, I have never had an issue with operation. Then I have learned, back up your hard drive on a "VERY REGULAR BASIS"!

I downloaded the WD software from their site and cloned the drive. It setup with no problems. It is much faster than my old 5400 drive. I have been using it for one month.

Had a good experience replacing the hard drive on my pc. I easily found the drive I needed at the store. I have had no issues with the drive and it's been a month.

the drive is fast not a SSD but more bang for the buck, I can afford the speed deliverance for the size and cost. Not for a boot drive but good for a data drive.

Was going to get the 5400RPM version of this HDD, but went with this one and have not regretted it at all, very fast and load times on my games and applications are lightening quick.

I built a new computer ASUS Hero IX Motherboard, I7 7790k processor, 16GB of Corsair DDR4 and EVGA 1080 Graphics Card. The hard drive is doing it's job and working well for gaming.

These are great hard drives. This is the second one of these hard drives I have ordered. The other one is atlas two years old. The run great and they seem to last!

Purchased to replace a failing HD in an old iMac. It totally revived the computer and it ran like it was brand new out of the box. Very nice.

I've been a Western Digital user for many years. I've never had one of their HDD fail and I've owned more than forty of them between my home and small office. I do replace drives that I use for backup on a regular basis (every 4-5 years based on usage) and that's why I purchased this drive. I'm old and perhaps a little old fashioned which is why I'm still using HDD for backup. I recently bought an SSD to upgrade the primary drive in one of my laptops.
