Works great but no box?

Installation in my laptop was easy and it's been working great. I was a little surprised to see it didn't come in retail packaging, just a blank cardboard shipping box.

Great drive for 1TB size
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Western Digital has supposedly improved their drives, although the only failures I've had using WD have been when I've accidentally dropped them on a cement floor. By contrast, I've had other brands suffer hard drive failures after 6-24 months, usually after heavy access activities. Since larger capacity drives have 1 TB platters, the single platter 1TB seems to offer more stable performance and less power consumption reduced over multi platter drives. Compared to my older 750GB 5900 blue WD drive, this ran much cooler. Can't compare SSD in terms of speed but more than adequate space and much cheaper.
