I would definitely recommend this product. My friends and I build our computers, and this hard drive works great. I have two in my computer, you can’t go wrong. I’ve never had an issue with this product, hands down my first and only choice. I wouldn’t purchase any other internal hard drive.

I have not installed the hard drive yet but the warranty and reputation of the "Black" Western Digital hard drives is why I bought it. Too bad Best Buy only sells the lower quality WD hard drives in their stores and force you to buy the better hard drives through their web site.

I got this drive to supplement my SSD boot drive. Large SSDs are becomming more readily available, but as of now there is no SSD with this type of storage anywhere near as cheap. So I would not recommend this drive as a primary, but as your secondary storage this will do just fine.

My 10 year old WD Black hard drive finally started to show signs of failure so I obtained this WD Black model to replace it. I trust the Black WD hard drives and I hope to get 10 years outta this one too!

WD Black has always been the go-to for my builds, which usually use an SSD for my OS drive, and this as my gaming drive. I like to keep my OS drive clean, the WD black is a great option when you want those quick loads. WD Blue is okay, but the standard 7200 RPMs can't really be beat. I believe WD has changed how the name their drives, so color coding has essentially gone away. Today, this would be a WD Performance Drive. save a few bucks and get this one OEM. Same difference.

I did not have much luck with the blue but this time I went with black. My desktop computer had a black WD and it is still going after 7 years of constant use.

WD makes the best HHD drives. Bought online and arrived three days later.

Good old reliable HD!! I actually own several of them and using them as external storage. This one is installed on my new rig and I'm using it as backup storage.

I returned the Blue version for the Black version. Black has a longer warranty so hopefully the Black hard drive will last and protect my files for a lot longer.

I use this drilve for data only and it is very fast.

My son wanted to bring our old desktop back to life after the hard drive died. Wanted a faster drive so got this one - it’s like a new computer- better than new. Great drive

Has great memory and will last me for a long time.

This was an inexpensive upgrade to my 1TB hard drive. No problems at all, but it does seem noisier than the OEM drive. It might be the placement in the computer, so YMMV.

Best overall desktop hard drive. I boot from an SSD and use this for data. I have 2 hard drives.

Great drive. My main drive for over a year now and it works great.

Obviously, this is no replacement for a ssd, but as hdd's go, this is a fast and good sized drive. Great for music, games and extras.

I have had exellent luck with WD drives and have several that have been trouble freee.

Got this drive for my first PC build. Faster than the blue and has a longer warranty
