had enough storage for me got the 4th but ended up with 3.6 still good purchase tho

Excellent hard drive that fits my storage needs. One thing to note though, if you hear periodic clicking, that's WD's Preemptive Wear Leveling (PWL). Apparently its the clicks are normal and help your drive last longer.

Bought for a storage drive on a new build. Store staff had a bit of a problem finding where it was held in stock as it was not located with other components in the store. Stagf was most helpful in locating the item. Price was excellent and works as needed

This thing is amazing but its very loud and clackity for some reason.this is tne third replacement so i am assuming they are all like that .

Western Digital 4TB Black Hard Drive is the correct drive to get for storage on your desktop Windows PC. Just plug it in and set it to GPT drive and partition the drive for full size or divide it for your purpose's. I used " EaseUS software "

Works as a good gaming HDD should. Could go with a WD Blue if you are looking to save a little money, but with how relatively inexpensive storage has gotten recently if you need performance and a large drive size, WD black would be the way to go.

Got it for a DVR. It was a perfect fit and easy to install. It greatly increased my previous capacity. It was so easy to install that even a lawyer could do it.

Great value. I picked this up on sale. Was nice to store all my photos, videos, songs and games that I didn’t need the extra speed of a ssd or m.2 drive. For the value and size it’s worth the money.

More than happy!- Did have a loose wire for the internal lights, but instead of Geek Squad, found it myself- the computer is blazing and hits 5stars on all marks- including looks super cool!

In the process of changing my gpu, I ended up crying both my drives. I upgraded to the 4tb from the 2tb because I have so many games and woodworking programs.
