I've been a fan of Western Digital hard drives for years. In fact, this is the second WD Black SN 750 NVMe drive. Last year I replaced my main OS drive when I ran out of space. This drive was to replace my existing data drive when that too started running out of space. Only been installed for a bit now, but happy with it.

Speed not as advertised I have Ryzen 5950x CPU and 32GB RAM not sure if that enough to work on maximize to the advertised transfer data Read Speed only 3000MB/s Write Speed only 2650MB/s Still fast tho but I don like being fooled in numbers 10% of advertised speed eaten by WD

The sleeper of the year. The price/performance of the SN750 cannot be beat. The 1TB version is the one to get. You will not be able to tell ANY speed difference between this and the PCIe 4.0 version. Got TWO of these on BF sale, but the normal selling price of this NVMe drive is still a good value. I replace a Samsung Pro 520gb NVMe drive with this one and the WD is as fast, if not faster. DON'T waste any extra money on the version that comes with the thick heat sink. This one is thin and does come with solid onboard thermal controls. Great for desktops and laptops alike. WD reliability that will last for years (as good as Samsung for $30 less). Death stranding loads in 15 seconds on a GB Tuf X570/Ryzen 3700X. Windows loads in 10 seconds. You won't be disappointed with this NVMe drive.

I purchased this nvme ssd 1tb to upgrade my laptop’s performance and storage capacity. I was amazed by how easy it was to install and how fast it booted up my system. It has a PCI Express 4.0 interface that delivers blazing-fast speeds of up to 5000 MB/s for reading and writing data. It also has a low power consumption and a high reliability that ensures a long lifespan. It is compatible with most laptops and desktops that have an M.2 slot. It is one of the best solid state drives I have ever used and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their PC experience.

Got this cause I needed more storage for my laptop. It’s also pretty decently priced for the specs. It was easy to install and fit perfectly in my laptops 2nd NVMe M.2 slot. I wish it came with standard a M.2 screw cause my motherboard didn’t have one in it (not WD’s fault). Even if my motherboard did have a screw, it still would of been nice to be included and know they provide one. My computer recognized the drive right away and it shows as a full 1TB with about 970 gigs of usable storage. I wish they included a QuickStart guide as I had to Google how to format it. I bought this online and had it shipped with no issues. Loads up games quick so I’d recommend putting anything you need quick access to on this.

Long story short, the system builder did nearly everything wrong, and a 128GB NVME was the boot drive. That was just one of many issues I had to correct. However, this is regarding this 1TB NVME. Sold at a price I could afford and fantastic performance, this quickly and easily replaced my boot drive. I performed a back-up before I removed the old, installed this one, did a basic Windows 10 installation, then joined the partitions and I was fully operational in under an hour as if NOTHING else had happened. I'm so happy I may replace the 256GB one(also installed in the same computer) with one of these as well. The only heads-up you need is to make sure you have an appropriate sized screwdriver or screwdriver bit, which are easy to obtain. Aside from that, it's an easy install. My only issue is "I need to find an appropriate method to access the old one so I can re-use it!". That's another fun project for another day.

Exactly as described, huge storage and very fast speeds. After using for over a year, it still works perfectly and I've had absolutely no problems with it whatsoever. I'd post a photo, but it's already inside my laptop. :(

Get this drive if you’re currently running an SSD. Seriously, get it now! I got this drive on sale and put it in my new build. I have a 1 TB spinning disk, a 1 TB decent SSD, and now this 1 TB WD NVMe drive. The results? 3,500 MBps read on the NVMe 500 MBps read on the SSD 200 MBps read on the spinning disk Everything feels so much faster now. This might not be the top of the line NVMe (that crown belongs to Samsung’s PCI-E 4.0 drives) but for the money this is an absolute steal. Plus, most reviews say that the boost from PCI-E 3.0 to 4.0 is negligible when it comes to NVMe drives (benchmarks show it, but it’s not as perceptible as the jump from SSD to NVMe).
