Benchmarks are in line with other performance gen 3 drives on the market. Anyone purchasing should take note that there are 2 versions, one has built in heat sink. This one does not, and requires either a motherboard heat sink or other cooling option for optimal operation. By downloading the WD Black software, I was able to also download free disk mirroring software to swap my OS drive. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

If you have no experience with this type of hard drive, it's definitely worth the money. The 'black' versions are the fastest ones. Download their dashboard software from WD's website and you turn a function on using the dashboard. It's the software options that unlocks the gaming speed. Still fast without it. Also, don't bother with the version that has the 'heatsink'. Not needed, and a waste of money.

SUPER FAST boot up on Windows 10 OS desktop

It takes only 34 seconds to boot, a big improvement from 1 minutes and 27 seconds, and it flies less than a minute on 230GB file transferring, love it ;) I definitely recommend this WD_BLACK SN750 NVMe 500GB Internal PCIe Gen 3 x 4 SSD for a boot drive upgrading attempt.
