My computer boots instantly from a power off state and writes anything within seconds. Would highly recommend for any PC build because it will make your computer 30% faster at the least. Leave those pesky HDDs and external SSDs for games and files and boot your computer to one of these. Worth the price of admission.

Great quality for great price

Will use other drives for media. This is the second WD M.2 drive I have built with in the past 3 years. I bought this same model again to get wonderful quality and nearly the speed of the much more expensive EVO M.2 drives. I don't think you would be able to distinguish the difference really.

Upgrade

It was a breeze to install, neither one of us have ever made any changes or mods to a computer but it was so simple anyone can do it. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an upgrade!!

Wow! The Speed

I used this in a system with a Core i3 processor, running Win10. From the time I pushed the power button to the time I hit the desktop was no more than ten seconds. I thought a SATA SSD was great, but this is even better.

It was easily mounted on the adapter and installed where the old proprietary card plugged in and I literally haven’t thought about it since may of 2021. I transfer tons of photos from an Ssd card and between the two os partition the transfer from SD is way faster and writing is faster as well. The only reason I thought about it was that I am upgrading to 2tb and wanted to get something from the same line. I’m buying another WD so I’m going to have to agree with myself and recommend this Ssd. I’d look silly to buy it then say don’t. Good value and holds up and doesn’t make my already cooling challenged MacBook Pro into a plate to melt the glue on your iPhone screen on after a few minutes of YouTube.

Which is great i would def recommend this item but i bought the 500gb i wish i would it spend 30 dollars and get the 1000gb instead.
