I’m very impressed with this product. I did a new build and this was my first time using an m.2 drive. My computer starts up and is ready to go in about 6 seconds. Crazy fast!

I loved this ssd so much it helped my PC stop crashing! My OG hard drive was corrupted and couldn’t keep windows. But this ssd fixed that problem plus boots windows so much faster !

Bought this on sale. It has been reliable for my regular use( email, web surving, video streaming). Well worth the purchase! *Installed in a 2012 Macbook Air, had to purchase an adaptor.

Fast SSD, Not such a huge difference in speed from a regular ssd, but its fast nonetheless. Great quality and reputation. Has not failed me. Using it for boot drive.

Great little drive. Using it for a Blender workstation and it powers up the computer lighting fast and programs even faster. I plan to buy more in the future.

This drive boots my OS in seconds and performs flawlessly. A big step up over traditional SSDs. I only wish they had a 1tb version in stock the day I bought mine, but this will do just fine.

Really easy to install and you can really see the difference in speed

If your OS is installed on an SSD and you purchase an NVMe I would recommend you move it because you will see a noticeable speed increase. The driver, however, does feel a little bit out of date.

For gaming this is a top notch NVMe. I have a couple of these in my desktop and a Samsung 970 evo plus in my laptop. Both are great but I like this western digital more for gaming. It has more features.

Works very well, I have this as my boot SSD and my OS just boots up within seconds. I kept it strictly as my OS/program storage device as I download my games on my SSD and HDD.

The drive is fast: The box says read/writes up to 3400MB/s sequentially. However, I've found mine, without any cache enhancements, to be about 3000MB/s. Still very fast.

This is my first m.2 drive I’ve ever used and it’s a very fast drive. I went with this because it was all black and matched my build the best. The speed son the drive are great.

Fastest drive I've ever owned, and it's compact to boot! I mainly use it for game storage, and games like The Witcher 3 and Rainbow Six Siege load up instantly. Worth every penny!

Always go with western digital black fast and reliable

I had the Geek Squad install the SSD into my existing computer. My computer had become sluggish, and this seems to help a lot. I highly recommend this.

I got this on sale and so far have been glad i made the purchase, it isn't as fast as the Samsung 970's but at the time of purchase it was the cheaper option and at the price difference a hundred or 2 more megabytes per second weren't really going to matter that much to me or my workflow. In the end I shaved off a few seconds from my boot times and got more storage so I am happy.

Great up and down speed, Great Compatibility, Fast. I have no complaints. I bought this just for a boot drive on one of my extra PC’s.

I upgraded my laptop going from a HDD to this WD Black NVMe drive. It boots up almost instantly now. So much for spinning rust! ;) The original HDD just stores a TB of Steam games now.
