I had an HP "gaming" laptop that for whatever reason came with a spinning disk. I have swapped SSDs into many laptops and desktops and seen the difference it made. But this NVME WD Black is a next generation SSD. It took my time from power on to desktop from around 60 seconds down to about 5. Programs load instantly. The drive comes with very little in the way of instructions, but I went to the WD website and downloaded the software I needed to do a simple clone of the disk and boot to it. I kept my spinning disk as extra storage, but don't think I will ever use it. I may end up taking it out to improve battery life.

Must have upgrade, my windows 10 now boots in 3 seconds or less... All apps load quickly... No regrets, pricey but worth it when it's on sale

works like a charm, and now my pc boots up in seconds, I am pleased with as it is my first SSD purchase. It shows me that I need to replace all my old hard drives with SSD's now.

Benchmarked my old Samsung SSD over SATA3 at 500MB/s. This thing ran circles around it, at 3GB/s. Was perfect for my Windows 10 to 11 upgrade.

Matched this drive with another NVMe drive (this for OS and the other for storage). Works wonders. Had to transfer 70gigs of data between the two and it only took 2 minutes!!!

Excellent drive for the money. Put this in a Dell Precision notebook as an upgrade to the SATA III drive it came with. Flawless performance and a noticeable upgrade.

Amazing speed! Put this in my older Lenovo laptop. It has more than doubled the start up speed. Have had zero issues with it. 100% recommend this.

Major boost from the mechanical drives. I installed these in a virtual pinball cabinet I built and along with booting much faster, tables stored on the drive run much faster as well.

I am impressed with the performance would purchase again if needed much better than using a regular hard drive.

I purchased my laptop through a different vendor. I invested in Best Buy's Total Tech Support, which is great. When my new laptop signaled that I had already reached the full storage capacity for my operating system in my SSD, I made an appointment with Best Buy's Geek Squad to have my laptop serviced. The Geek Squad tech assisted me in choosing the correct upgrade. They serviced my laptop, cleaned it, and performed the SSD upgrade. I have no problems with my laptop whatsoever. I am very pleased with Best Buy's products and Geek Squad Service. I highly recommend them to anyone.

It's fast and I haven't had any problems with it. I have been using it for about a month now. If there were any problems they should shown up by now.

Great quality SSD card that is easy to install and format. Its reading capabilities is fast and has a good amount of space too. I highly recommend this SSD.

Great upgrade over my sata ssd. I had an older motherboard that didn't default to 3.0 speeds automatically, but that was a quick change in the bios.

Great speed. I recommend buying 1TB which is faster than this one. Bought this one because it was a right fit for replacing an old SATA SSD.

WD black series ssd rock this is like my 11th one and last of the 750 series now on to the 850 with PCIE 4 and double the speeds.

Great cheap little nvme. Bought it for my sons PC. Got a great deal while it was on sale. So far so good. Will update review if it fails.

Bought this for my fiance's pc and it worked put well. I did get it on sale for half price, definitely a great value at that price.
