The are some serious lag issues when I access folders with a lot of files such as pictures and music, but the drive runs very smooth when under full load playing games.

Works well on one pc, didnt show up on another

I first installed this in a laptop but it would not pick it up. I am glad that I kept it around for our new workstation desktop as it fired up with it instantly. If buying for an older system, ensure compatibility with your motherboard or system manufacturer. I feel this wasn't done adequately by WD.
