Customers praise the BLACK SN750 500GB Internal Gaming SSD PCIe Gen 3 x4 NVMe for its performance, affordability, and ease of installation. Many reviewers highlight the fast boot times and ample storage capacity for the price. While some users noted that the drive can get warm under heavy use and may have compatibility issues with older systems, the positive feedback on speed and value outweighs these concerns. The overall experience is largely positive, making it a popular choice for gamers and other users.

Outstanding performance improvement for my laptop. I cloned the original SATA SSD to the WD Black using an external NVMe USB enclosure. Following a quick swap and a reboot into Safe Mode allowed the correct driver to load. Windows now boots virtually instantly compared to the older SATA SSD. (about 2 seconds compared to 7 seconds!) Very happy with the purchase.

I bought this Nvme just because of the price, only to find out is almost as good as anybody else’s including Samsung But at a much cheaper price. I beat on it like you would be on a dusty rug and it just keeps going. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money on expensive and Nvme that Is not gonna give you any better performance that you will actually see. Save your money and buy this instead.

I upgraded my kids computers since they've been getting more into dev and programming as well as gaming and it's good feeling that they're hard work isn't going to be lost to a crash when writing to the drive took so long with their prior set ups. The gist is that these are easy to install and reliable.

Great value to gain hyper fast boot speeds. Moving from a HDD to NVME is like going from a 1989 Toyota Camry with low compression to a Porsche 911 Carrera. I can go from powered off to the windows locks creen in seconds.
Also, a great value for what you get. Pricing is on point.

With the price of NVMe dropping well under $100 there is no excuse for not upgrading your laptop.
Super easy to install, clone to and no maintenance.
You will notice an immediate boost on the first boot.
Upgraded a Lenovo ThinkPad E15 and put the standard HD into a SABRENT 2.5-Inch SATA to USB 3.0 Tool-Free External Hard Drive Enclosure.

i bought this as a boot drive and to load a few games/programs that ran slow on my sata ssd. for those who say they don't see a difference in performance between the two, they are lying. boot time? whats that? i'm ready to log in before my screens detect a input(about 3 seconds roughly). games take half the time to load and dear god i love it.

This device was easy to install as long as your motherboard has included the very small screws necessary to attach such drives to the motherboard. After formatting and copying files from the previous drive, this product has worked perfectly. It is not the first WD Black purchase I have made and it is likely not to be the last.

Fast. Reliable. Made by a company that has been in the storage business for many years. The motherboard had a m.2 heatsink included which keeps it cooler and it doesn't slow down by over heating. 500GB is enough space for most people to install an OS and some software.

Picked up a fixer-upper HP Elitebook 840 G3 and this was a seamless performance upgrade. I do Photoshop and Premiere Pro editing so this is definitely a must-have over the garden-variety generic SSD that ships with most laptops. Buy it while SSD prices are favorable!

Got the 500GB version as a main Drive for my Gaming PC, literally takes 20 seconds for me to turn on my PC which is nuts comparing it to the HDD i had before. Really recommended and install is simple, mostly the hardest thing to do to install it is to remove the GPU off which depends on what Motherboard you have.

This SSD is great, with 3400 MB/s read and 2100 MB/s write (500GB model), is very fast and has a very competitive price. I recommend this SSD for people who needs speed and something for a good price. But if you don't need a speed like a SSD NVMe, you can buy a SATA SSD or a hard drive and save a little money.

Bought this NVMe to upgrade my old Mac Book Air 2013's internal SSD. Unfortunately, Apple has their own proprietary pins for the NVMe SSD, but I was able to get an adapter to use this WD_BLACK SN750. This SSD makes my MBA2013 so much faster and I can now hold 4x as much as I did before!!!

I’ve been using this product for a while now. It’s a great amount of storage for not a bad price. It’s super fast load times for Warzone or the new black ops. I’m planning on switching my whole computer over to NVME drives. Highly recommend for anybody who games or does video/photo editing

The M.2280 SATA drive on my work laptop was filling up. The price difference between a 500 GB SATA drive and this was negligible (caught this one on sale), so why not go PCIe?
Installation was a snap - unscrew the old SSD, plug this in, attach screw and boot. The BIOS identified it immediately and my drive restore went flawlessly. Don't expect an NVMe drive to give you massively increased boot times. The difference is maybe a couple of seconds, and if a couple seconds are that important to you, you either run benchmarks for a living, or you don't remember the days of turning on your computer *before* going to get your morning coffee!
Where this drive shines over a SATA counterpart is in transferring and loading large files. That, coupled with a move to dual-channel memory, makes a 5-year-old Dell corporate special somewhat bearable. On a more modern Ryzen or i7 system, this drive would absolutely fly!
