Customers are saying

Many reviewers highlight the fast boot times and ample storage capacity for the price. While some users noted that the drive can get warm under heavy use and may have compatibility issues with older systems, the positive feedback on speed and value outweighs these concerns. Really fast!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fast and reliable, pretty good value most of the time over Samsung. Can’t really go wrong here, the difference between those two is close to none. Though I think next time, I will buy adata. Still though, load times are close to nothing, great boot drive and good for a few games :)

Fast!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Get a heat sink (for longevity) for this as it gets scorching! I bought two of these drives. One is for OS (dual boot Windows 10 and Linux), and the other a game library. Speedy, no complaints. I got on sale, so buy on sale if you can for the best deal, and you can get a heatsink.

Great Drive
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent main drive for my pc. I wasn’t sure if there would be a difference between an SSD and an NVME. While the difference is not as great as the jump from HDD to SSD, the jump from SSD to NVME is still significant. Totally worth the upgrade to me since I needed more storage anyways.

A good NVME SSD at a good price.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A good NVME SSD for the price. Plenty fast enough for even the most demanding workload. Make sure that your computer uses a "M" key SSD. Some use a "M" key, some use a "B" key, and some use a "B-M" key. They key is the notch where it makes contact. Look to see what yours uses.

Does the job
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this alongside 1TB and 2TB versions. This is the only one that has run for years without failing. Stick with smaller storage when it comes to WD Black. 1TB and 2TB versions crash and corrupt within a month or two.

Good deal for a NVME
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I chucked one of these into the NVME pci port on my mobile and did a fresh windows install. Speeds are amazing and it’s a good value for the price. You can read the reviews regarding this drive online at most tech websites. Had no issues running this in my system.

||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for my laptop that came with an insanely small ssd drive. It has absolutely improved the performance of my laptop and the best part is being a total tech member it was installed FOR FREE!!! The geek squad is the best!

Speedy hard drive
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to install hard drive. I tried to clone my old hard drive to this new one, but it wouldn't boot in my new computer. I don't think it was the fault of this drive though. Performed a fresh install of Windows and it's up and running like a champ. Super fast.

The go-to NVMe M.2 drive
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got it on sale for a great price. Super quick and nice you can pick it up in store with no issues. Normal disk hard drives are a thing of the past, these NVMe drives are blazingly fast and being solid state have a ridiculously low failure rate.

Great SSD
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not used to NVME SSDs and thought I'd get my first one, and for PCIe 3.0, it's a very fast drive. My system boots up in less than 10 seconds and the system is very responsive and snappy. I recommend this SSD.

Fast and Reliable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This drive is fast, and very reliable. It came with nothing but the drive, no mounting hardware, which was different from some of the other brands, but it was no problem because my adapter and my motherboard came with it. I would buy again and recommend

Say goodbye to loadtimes
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a ridiculously fast drive. Load times are basically non existant with this and its got pretty good value compared to other NVME M.2 SSDs on the market. I would get one of these to at least put your OS on and any programs that you use often.

I've Never Booted Programs This Fast Before
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't speak for longevity, but this NVMe M.2 SSD has been an absolute unit so far. I'm used to HDD boot times for Premiere Pro/Illustrator in the 30 second range. With this drive, it takes anywhere from 4-6 seconds. The difference is a game changer.

If you have an m2 slot on your MB I highly suggest you pick one of these up. Really easy to install as well.

Great SSD!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great highspeed SSD. I use this drive as my boot drive, my PC boots up super quick, and overall this SSD seems like a good value. Although it's not a Gen 4 SSD, it still is great and worth considering when looking for a new drive.

Fast and reliable plus WD support
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super-fast, reliable and BB price matched Amazon "Pre-Black Friday" deal ... hard to go too far wrong! I have 2 of these in my Ryzen 3600 build one as the boot-drive and the second for whatever games I'm currently playing. Its extremely fast.

Speedy little dude.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a speedy little guy and worth the money. Needed a ltttle more space, and had a M.2 slot free on my desktop. Windows picked it right up, and I've noticed a huge difference in loading time for the games I have on it. Worth it.

So far so good
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't done any speed tests because I'm not in pursuit of the fastest drive possible, but so far this has been a fast drive. For example, a 1GB file can be copied elsewhere on disk in about a second. I thought maybe they'd include a heatsink with this but sadly they didn't. Doesn't matter though because my motherboard (Gigabyte X470 Aorus Ultra Gaming) has a heatsink already. I've tested this drive with Linux and it installs without any issues. Right now I'm using it with FreeBSD 12.1 and a Ryzen 3600, so if you're a FreeBSD or Linux user, this is a solid drive to grab. I've seen people complain about there being no screw for mounting the drive, but I don't recall ever getting a drive with a screw, having purchased a Samsung and ADATA in the past. I've purchased WD HDDs in the past, but this is my first SSD from them. So far after about a month I'm happy with the purchase.
