    Even with my PCIe 3.0 motherboard, this thing's really fast! Apparently, this is a DRAM-less SSD, but modern storage is so fast these days you'd be hard-pressed to find a meaningful difference in speed imo. Very good alternative to a Samsung SSD if you want to save money while still having a solid brand name warranty.

    I bought this for Play Station 5. All my games are downloaded into this extended storage and about 70% of the storage used. I usually spend whole day playing the games and I have not experienced any issue. So I would say this was a good SSD for high data transfer cases.

    The original drive in my laptop failed on me because it was one of those combo Optane drives. Shouldn’t have used it. But now with the WD, it’s back up and running beautifully. I’d recommend it.
