Very very very good ssd card. Im a gamer and have thousands of games downloaded and typically with other SSD cards they are very slow. Not with this card, it loaded my games very fast and even when i took it out to clean it, it still loaded everything fine, with this card 2tb is more than enough for the average gamer.

Great speed and stability! This is the third WD_Black drive I have purchase for one of our PCs and each drive has worked flawlessly. This 2TB is the largest we have out of the 3 and the speed is similar on all three drives. Running at full speed these drives, as will others running at these speeds, will get hot. As many motherboards will have a built in heat spreader on 1 least one NVMe socket I suggest putting your fastest drives there. If that is already taken you might consider a heat spreader for these if your motherboard will allow you to run multiple drives at full speed.

Purchased this ssd to expand my storage on my PS5. It was super easy to install and is giving me rock solid performance. You cant go wrong with the price of this ssd drive.

I am using this in a Sonnet Thunderbolt dock for external storage. As such, I didn’t need the fastest SSD, but rather one that was a good blend of speed, capacity, and price. This WD drives meets those all around. I compared pricing at several other retailers and BestBuy was the best out of all of them. I would buy the drive and recommend BestBuy again if the need were to arise.

I purchased this western digital name a while ago. Never had any regret since. It works fast with cool operating temperatures, lightening speed data transfers , easy to install, sturdy build quality and pocket friendly. I would recommend everyone who is on budget to consider this nvme drive for upgrade. It has different variants starting from 1 tb all the way up to 4 tb. Worth every penny

Bought this to upgrade the drive in my Framework laptop. I installed it, copied all the software over and everything is working great. The performance seems to be as good as the much smaller original drive. I'm very pleased with this drive.

Works flawlessly in a RayCue hub for my Mac Mini M4 and expands my storage from 512 MB to 2.5 TB. I use 1 TB of the drive as my Time Machine drive, again ... flawlessly.

Spectacular! I placed the SN770 in a ZikeDrive 666 and use it to process and store large data files. This was a more affordable way of getting lots of fast storage in a new 2024 Mac mini M4.

Picked this up to replace an SSD style m.2 and the difference is insane! Using this exclusively for game storage on my desktop PC and my games have never loaded faster. Now I spend much less time on loading screens and more time playing. I read online that the gen 4 can overheat but I have not ran into this issue. Also running it on a gen 3 slot, but at least I am getting the best speeds available for my hardware.

As NVMe drives go, the SN770 is performing as expected. In the relatively short time I've been using the drive, I have experienced no problems with data loss or abnormally high heat. The specification for the drive mentions speeds "up to 5,150MB/s," what I'm seeing more consistently is about 62% of that (~3200MB/s), which is still pretty good - and part of that is most likely due to my only having a PCIe Gen3 system. Considering how close to the Gen3 spec this drive is attaining, it's pretty certain to be even faster using a full Gen4 interface. The NVMe drive is also packaged pretty bare - there is no heat transfer tape or large heat sink included; But this can be acquired separately. This also means that you shouldn't have any problem fitting the drive into a spare slot meant for an NVMe M.2 2280 form factor. Finally, mentioning consistent speeds, the drive also performs well in an external NVMe enclosure - just make sure to use a Thunderbolt 3/4 interface since USB-C wouldn't be fast enough to reach the higher speeds. So all in all, a very good drive and so far very dependable.

works great so far, I'm primarily using my PC for gaming and I don't have a lot of games downloaded at once so 2TB is great. Transfer speed is pretty solid and great price overall
