Super fast ssd in my Ps5. Got a heatsink for it and installed it in five minutes. Gives me the extra space I need and is very fast.

Very easy to install even YouTube has videos on how to do it and safely once installed it will be labeled as a different driver and any down loads will go to primary drive if not selected it's a great product I recommend it

Western Digital has consistently worked well for me. This M.2 NVMe is no exception. Speeds are excellent, just make sure your motherboard will support the full PCI 4.0 speed. Some have multiple M.2 ports with different speeds. I am using an MSI x570 Gaming Pro Carbon, which also comes with a built-in heatsink for the M.2 ports. If your mobo does not have a heatsink cover already, you will want to get an aftermarket one for this. If you do not, it will heat up quickly under use and your speed advantages will evaporate.

This NVMe is lightning fast! I have this and a samsung 980 in my PC. This beats the Samsung's speeds by a lot. I went ahead and bought 2 of the 4TB version because of it.

Very fast ssd and quality is top notch! This ssd without the heatsink is much cheaper on sale than the option with the heatsink. Make sure to buy a heatsink! (I purchased a Be Quiet MC1 heatsink which is compatible with the PS5) Installing it without one will cause it to overheat. Paired together and was almost $100 cheaper total than the WD black heatsink model. Installing heat sink on the ssd was not difficult at all. There’s a video on YouTube on how to properly install it on the ssd and then install into the ps5.

Upgraded this on my gaming rig and it's been amazing. Of course since it is a SSD everything loads super fast (games, software etc). 2 TB gives ample room for those things as well.

This is one of the three ultra-fast new generation PCIE 4.0 NVMes on the market (the other two being from Samsung and Sabrent), and one of the two that has a 2TB model (the other being Sabrent). After benchmarking this thing in CrystalDiskMark, I was blown away by the fact that it is actually faster than the Samsung 980 Pro 1TB. As a Samsung SSD user for the past half decade, I'm pleasantly surprised.

I bought the 2 TB WD SN 850 for my PS5 as soon as I got the beta SSD update from Sony. Came in today, installed and this is a game changer as games loads even faster than the stock internal SSD that came in the console. The drive is pricey but I am fine investing in my console for years of enjoyment. I highly recommend any of the different sizes for PS5 gamers.

Purchased this for the PS5. It was easy to install an aftermarket heatsink (costs about $10). It fits perfectly in the PS5 and rivals the speeds of the internal SSD that the PS5 comes with. Highly recommended for any PS5 owner (especially since you get the full 2TB added to your internal drive capacity as opposed to a chunk of it being used for system storage)

This SSD is fast really fast ! the driver for it is good (dashboard) unlike the Samsung ssd !!!!! So far working great no issues like I encounter with the Samsung SSD !!! it caused my system reboots and freeze ! it was horrible !!! This WS Black SN850 2tb is very reliable and super fast !!!! Also please support BestBuy and give them business !!! it's the only good retail store we have ! it's my candy store !!!!

Exceeds expectations, really fast SSD it’s kinda expensive but totally worth it. Got it while it was on sale and I can’t say that I regret it. If it’s too pricey you can wait for the new Samsung drive it’s coming out later on but if you got the cash you can’t go wrong with this one l.

Since ever game takes about 200GB these days you will need a 2TB drive like this one just to have a few titles. The drive is super fast as long as your processor supports PCI-E 4.0. Also stays relatively cool as long as you pair it with a proper heatsink.

I stopped worrying about my PS5 storage after buying this one. 2TB might sound like too much and currently my PS5 titles only fill up like 800 GB, but knowing that there would be a lot of PS5 titles coming out next year, I bought this for future proofing. Very pricey though 320 for 2TB

Bought this last week for my PS5 to expand the storage with a separate heatsink for amazon. Very easy installation and formatting. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for more space for games on the PS5.

Very fast drive and easy to install. My second 850 as I upgraded to a 2 TB for my OS drive. The imaging software is perfect and did great to move everything over with reinstalling.

Needed to expand the storage on my gaming pc yet again. Drive is fast and installed without any issues. Got it at a real great price during Amazon prime day. I also purchased a heat sink from BB to go with it.
