Super fast, very reliable. The new, officially licensed box version is a great price now. I paid around $375 for the 2TB before it was an official accessory. Jump on it. And there's no real world difference between the 850 and the 850X. The X is just a higher priced version of basically the same thing. Go straight for the 850 at this price!

I chose this to upgrade my PS5 because of the built-in heatsink. It was easy to install and format. I moved several games from the internal drive to this SSD and the transfer was quick. It has performed flawlessly so far. It's not cheap but a good example of you get what you pay for.

I'm sure if you're looking at this you've come to the point where you are deciding which games. apps and data to move and/or delete. I understand…After research (too much on my part), I bought this SPECIFICALLY for the space increase AND the fact that you can play games DIRECTLY off this SSD WITHOUT LAG! The install was super easy, follow the step by step directions (a video will also walk you through) and within 5-10 (after rebooting and the drive updating/formatting) you are able to choose how you want items stored. For instance, if you want all new games and downloads sorted to this SSD. After you complete the install and move games/apps/data to your new SSD….you will laugh at the OBSCENE amount of space you have now to use. After install, I have had NO ISSUES AT ALL! Install it and FORGET IT (until each time you congratulate yourself for making such a clever purchase by looking at ALL the additional FREE SPACE you now have)! Though the install was a bit difficult due to the M2 screw in my PS5 being stripped during the unscrewing process, once I was able to remedy that, it was pretty simple! My PS5 registered the drive immediately upon startup, and the games run just as fast as they do on the system’s SSD!! A must buy!!

Easy to install, nearly plug and play (just take it easy removing your cover, it comes off easily doing it the correct way). Worth the expense if you can afford it (or wait for a sale), have a large game library, and don’t care to move PS5 title between SSD and USB drive. Keeps you playing with minimal load times.

Bought this for my ps5 since i was tired of only having 500 gigs and having to delete some games. Very satisfied that i can install and play more games now! I recommend watching a tutorial video on how to properly install it too. Other than that, im very happy with my purchase!

I needed this storage capacity in my PS5 and did I needed it to work! Remember, this comes installed with a heatsink. I bought mine AFTER the PS5 update that allows SSD to work (in September 2021). This fits perfectly into my PS5’s SSD’s space meant for it. Make sure you have that small screw driver you would use if you were opening your laptop or PC. Your going to need it to install this baby. I’m sure most will know this already but just stating it for someone who might not have any idea. Anyways, I’ve been running it in my PS5 since the update and it is working fine for me. Actually, it’s been working great. Downloading from Internal SSD to new SSD is super fast. Also, my games that I play on my PS5 on the new SSD seems as if there is no speed (or loading) difference….as if I’m playing off the Internal SSD. I’ll say this, it’s worth the money. I’ve had no known issues with this SSD in my PS5 and it works great for me.

It’s a super simple way to give your ps5 a boost in storage! It’s just as fast and smooth as the internal one also the system automatically updates to use it!! Just screw over the spacer and the heat shield over it! Will recommend for anyone that wants to keep many games!!

Small package with big gains!! We all know the PS5 console comes with limited storage. But with this simple upgrade, I’ve expanded my consoles capacity to new limits. And this memory is blazing fast!!

This is basically a must for those who have a ps5. 2Tb of extra storage is essential due to the lackluster storage of the ps5. The storage is extremely reliable as I've had 0 issues since I purchased. It is also very easy to install.

So easy to setup, so easy to use. I wish it would have been a RAID configuration so a continuous amount of storage, but overall this is about as good as it gets. Got it onsite which made it even better. Installation was super simple. Two screws and 3 minutes. Boot up, follow directions and you are done!

There's really not much more to say than this is thing is awesome. I needed extra storage for my Ps5 and this has given me enough space for all my games and more. It's very easy to install it took me no more than 7 mins. I recommend to anyone looking to add storage to their Ps5.

Very easy to install. Plenty of Youtube videos walk-throughs for those who need the help. After you have installed it. You will be prompted to format the SSD. It performs really well in speed tests and lets you move and load games almost as fast as the PS5’s own SSD.

This storage device certainly holds all the legacy games I have. No more wondering where my external hard drive is no more. Loads games fast and a great investment if you need more storage on you PS5.

If you have a next gen model and need more storage this is definitely the way to go, I did my own research and this storage is way better than external ssd, if you’re undecided I suggest this piece of hardware, super easy to install

This has been great for expanded storage for my PS5. I can now play ps5 games directly off of my expanded storage. Make sure to look up a youtube tutorial on installation if you have questions, but i found the installation to be quite simple.

Great addition to an already maxed out memory. Most big title games now will eat up 1/4 or 1/3 of standard hard drive space so adding an ssd is almost necessary. Easy to install and setup.

Great heatsink for the ps5. I got it in time for Final Fantasy 16. Game is running amazing off the SSD and i have had no problems with anything. While the price is a little high it is official and made for the ps5 which is a big win.

Great upgrade! Easy to install and is ready to use out of the box. Add 2tb to a PS5 is really useful in this age of massive games. You do have to tell the PS5 to make this new hd the default drive for installation. Very happy with this purchase and worth the expense!

Love that the I have more space on my ps5 now that I have this SSD in my ps5 it’s easy to install brought it when I got the first update to install it and had no problems with it still used it to this day
