This NVME isn’t messing around. It comes with a small but solid feeling heat sink and a little rgb for extra flare. I installed this into my PS5 quickly and painlessly although I did have to track down a small screwdriver for the petite screw to hold down the drive. According to the PS5 it’s reading at 6271.106 MB/s. I wanted an nvme with rgb because I wanted to see it through the side of my transparent side plates. There’s no way to control the rgb with the PS5 so it just kind of throbs yellow. I left the cover off it so I could see it, hopefully that won’t mess up the cooling. Overall initial impressions are good, if it’s anything like the other Western Digital made storage devices I’ve used for the past 20+ years I’m sure it will have excellent longevity.

Works great on my PS5. It’s no wonder that it’s the SSD recommended by Mark Czerny as it is blazing fast. Installation was easy and took about 1-minute. Highly recommend buying the version with the heatsink of you want zero hassles.

Works perfectly with my PS5. Definitely worth full price but look for sales like I did. Between on sale, a $15 reward certificate and the nice agent who helped me price match and took off another $40, I got it with tax for $78.48 total! With all that aside, the read/rewrite times are just as fast as the PS5 built-in SSD. If you don't have 25 digital games, this is perfect. Highly recommend!

Finally got one for ps5 and works flawless. This come with heatsink so just plug and play. Don't hesitate if on sale or larger size is available. I don't notice any speed differences from internal ssd. Must have to continue space for games. I do prefer Samsung on pc builds but would not shy away from this m.2 ssd.

This is a great option if you own a ps5 and still have space on your internal ssd but just want some supplemental storage space. Installation was easy and the heat sink seems sturdy. I would recommend this to ps5 owners seeking some more storage space.
