Super easy! Had it installed, put back together, and formatted in about 3 minutes! I chose this one because it is officially licensed by/for the PlayStation 5. Plenty of storage as of right now, lol.

Great upgrade for the ps5. The installation was quick and easy and transferring games from the hdd was easy. No more deleting games and apps to make space. I don’t know what took me so long to add more storage, but I’m glad I did.

I was very pleased with this product! I bought it over a year ago and I haven't had any issues. Super easy to install and starts working immediately! I was looking back at my order history to check the name brand for recommending to another gamer. So, since I was here I felt like giving this product it's Props!!! easier than expected to install. youtube tutorials, but basically just need a "0" or "1" small phillips head. Remove bottom plastic console cover, unscrew the rectangular cover, then gently unscrew the smaller screw and washer. Eyeball the SSD size, put the washer down in the relevant groove, gently align the SSD into the slot (it audibly clicks), then screw the small screw into the washer, locking the ssd in place. no need to overtighten anything. Replace the cover. Format the ssd in your ps5. Worked easy on my new ps5 slim. Fair price on sale too. 2TB so hopefully won't have to do this again. Easier on Series X, but half the player base of PS5. Good amount of storage for the price on sale, transferred my games and apps to the drive, all worked good. Nice.

Best investment for our PS5. went from 1 terabyte to 3 in total. Tons of games now downloaded and no need to delete anymore. Extremely easy to install. Take back cover off. Phillips screw driver to unscrew. Place new hard drive in and fasten with phillips screw. Replace rear cover. 2 mins or less. Tons of youtube videos on it.

The hard drive was easy to install. I can store more games on my console and they load up fast. No complains about! I recommend it to someone looking to expand their PS5 storage.
