    It's PCI-4, it slots in easily, it's crazy fast. No heat sink on this model but decent midrange mobo's will come with that. Been buying WD drives for more years than I care to count.

    Great SSD! Fast, reliable gen 4 NVME storage. Achieving advertised speeds right out of the box. I recommend a heatsink if using in a ps5 though. I'd recommend this drive to anyone.

    First there was the WD Black 850, and now the WD Black 850X. This drive pushes PCIe 4 to the max, as if it wasnt fast enough before. Would recommend this any day for a new PC build.
