    Plugged in the new drive and it worked with no issues. Restored the hard drive from the backup and it works like there was never a problem. It is also noticeable faster than the one I replace and the price was good.

    I've been replacing broken disk drives for my customers for 10 years. WD is one of two brands I have been using, usually purchasing whatever is on sale. I've never had a drive be DOA. As of late I've been noticing more failures after severall years of use with the other brand, so I'm leaning towards only using WD drives from now on.

    My Toshiba laptop crashed after 4 years of almost daily use. This part quickly restored my device and allowed me to get back to work on my writing. The Geek Squad Plan made the the replacement easier...I only had the cost of the part.....such a great deal for an non-techie. And I had my device back in a day!

    Accident has left me unable to walk, so wife went in store for me. Came back to car with desktop drive. Told her that drive was too large. She went back, and a clerk very courteously provided a laptop hard drive. It has installed and worked fine.

    Works great. My hard drive went out a while ago so I just bought a new laptop the new one was plain I missed all the features so I bought this hard drive at a good price. I was able to install myself and have not had a single issue
