Worthwhile Upgrade

Since the device already had the maximum amount of RAM, I decided to replace its hard disk drive with a Western Digital solid state drive. Once the new drive had been installed in the laptop, I immediately noticed a dramatic increase in booting speed and in the general responsiveness of the device. I would definitely recommend this product to any laptop owner looking for a worthwhile upgrade.

ISS Drive is worth a look

The product cost half as much as my friend said it would and it had twice the memory. I have been using my new/modified pc for a couple of weeks and I am very pleased. I recommend the WD-Blue 250GB SATA 2.5” Internal Solid State Drive

Great for the money.

Did a great job increasing my friends boot time, but I'm not sure if it'll last aslong as my other SanDisk. Either way it was a great buy and I'm sure I'll be buying another one.

Breathing Life into an old laptop

It was getting slow to play games such as the division, due to the HDD getting long in the tooth. Insert WD SSD Blue and wow! My system is fast again. Best upgrade I’ve ever purchased. Now my only concern is my old GPU, but there isnt anything I can do about that. But this will give this old war wagon of a laptop at least more life for only $53

Great for a budget build.

Of course there's more to factor in, like the games optimization, but this is way better than an HDD. Bottom line, its great for a budget gaming build. IF you have the extra cheddar, consider an M2 SSD. Just look up the speed difference and you'll see what I mean. Otherwise this is a great option!
