Bought this to expand storage for my PlayStation. Guidance to format for that specific use is available with a little research and it does the trick. Glad I have it - if you have a PlayStation you should too.

Love Love Love the ability to purchase online for in-store pickup. Decided late in day to rebuild a couple of laptops that had spinning disks. These worked great to extend the life of those devices.

Solid value driven SSD card with a 3 year warranty. I have bought over 10 of these and they are all great. Skip the cheaper versions which have a shorter warranty.

Works great, quiet, hasn't died yet unlike my previous off-brand models. You can usually catch this on sale, but even at regular price it would be worth it for the historically reliability of Western Digital

I am using this drive to upgrade an older i7 computer. Migration process with downloaded software worked easily and quickly. I am not looking for max performance so I cannot speak to speed, but boot up time is quick!

the WD - Blue 250GB Internal SATA Solid State Drive was recommended to help save the current computer and has certainly lived up to the recommendation. so happy to be back in business.

Easy to use. Just plug it in and load the Western Digital dashboard which allows you to format and to initialize the drive. And you're good to go... very simple

This SSD technology is so vastly better than anything going before. An eight year old laptop boots in max 15 seconds. A great decision, well recommended and installed by The Geek Squad! Very satisfied!

The solid state is faster then my previous hard drive even though it is a smaller size. I don’t keep my files on my laptop, so it does not cause any issues with space. Good price.

Installed by Geek Squad after original drive gave up. The digital seems to have a quicker response time and picture seems brighter and sharper. Also boot-up is faster. Negatives are that not all files were able to transfer and some information is displayed differently (this may be because of a different version of Windows 7 used on the drive...Overall a good product.

I bought this for a computer for my daughter who is a gamer and is at high risk for dropping. This hard drive is very secure, very stable and has great storage. It is also very fast!

Western Digital has been my hard drive of choice for several years but just recently started installing SSD drives in customer computers. Fastest boot up times I've ever witnessed!!

I have several of these and use them to back up all my files. I always keep it password protected. When I create a new file or edit an existing file I immediately back that file up.

Cloning software is available as a free download from Western Digital. My 10-year-old laptop is at least 50% faster since replacing it's hard drive with this solid state drive.

You’d be surprised the performance you would get from this hard drive. Unless you are a pic or video nut, this hard drive is enough to upgrade or backup your system

This SSD works fine. No issues using it as a boot drive. Fast enough. Only downside is value when looking at storage per dollar, which for this is on the high side.

Western Digital makes excellent SSDs. If you are installing in a computer that has a full-sized hard drive slot, be sure to order a 3.5" adapter tray.

No issues installing the drive not setting up an OS on it. Seems to speed up an aged laptop from 10 years ago.

I have had no issues with this solid state drive after using it for a long period of time with storage and performance. Works just as expected from it's description.
