I added this to my new laptop that I purchased that only had a 250gb SSD. I needed a drive for bulk storage and picked this up. So far, so good! Easy installation and easy to get my PC to recognize it as well.

I got this to replace the 500gb drive that came with my PS4, because RDR2 just takes up wayyyyy too much space. Anyway, drive works perfectly in the PS4. I was a bit concerned because when I replaced the HDD in my PS3 I ended up with a energy-saving drive that would cause stuttering and pauses because the drive would constantly spin down. This drive does not appear to have that problem and performance does not seem impacted at all. Protip: If you have a 2nd spare external harddrive, you can backup your current HDD contents to that, swap the drives, then restore from the backup. This will restore all settings, saves, and downloads.

Went into a 2012 Mac Mini as a secondary drive, no problems. Well, this requires a complete tear-down of the Mac Mini, but that's just the way it is. Ideal to save a massive iTunes library for playback. Fantastic price. I did buy this thinking it was an SSD since I did a search on BestBuy for an SSD and this came up. I was a bit annoyed but then when I thought about the intended use, this probably is the best drive choice. I'd really have no issue buying a second one in the future.

This was bought twice They're placed the hard drive in a playstation four in two different Devices Both devices work better than they did when they were first bought spot. Memory memory is more than the original consoles and it works faster.

Replaced manufacturer's storage on new HP personal computer. Needed more capacity. Functions fast and accurately.

This one is 2Tb and 7mm; worked great in my new Dell laptop when I upgraded to a NVMe SSD and this drive. Now it boots quick and has storage to spare.

I had a 1 tb hard drive and had been wanting to upgrade to a 2 tb drive for quite a while. I wanted a Western Digital hard drive because of their solid reputation and warranty. The speed was sufficient for my requirements. I partitioned my drive into 3 logical drives. These became C:\System, E:\Music, and F:\Database. Drive F:\ contains the directory structure that organizes my archived documents and videos. This drive has been extrememly useful for all my technical needs.

Bought this HD for my HP notebook, installed without a hitch. Runs great and can also be installed on a PS4, trust me I know... I tried it and it worked without a flaw.

Great for gaming laptops or people who use generally large amounts of space. Installed it easily into my laptop, though if you do it yourself, do be careful and know what you’re doing. It can be easy to mess something up. Anyway, this was a great buy and now my laptop has ample space for games for on-the-go! Recommend for anyone who uses a laptop or takes it on trips and likes to game.

I purchased this disk to replace a defective disk on a Tablo Over the Air DVR. It arrived in perfect NEW condition and installed with ease. Once installed it worked as a disk should. It is extremally quiet and access seems faster than the prior disk.

2TB on a 2.5" drive only 7mm thick and made by Western Digital! Drive seems fast for a 5400 RPM drive with read operations - I get read speeds nearly 200 MB/s. Small writes are also very quick, probably because of the MASSIVE cache.

This is a great upgrade to a Laptop or Whatever you need. I found it was easy to install and with WD Software you have to Download from Website (For Free) - It's easy to Format and setup, You do need a little skill to do all of this, but you wouldn't be buying it if you didn't have some skill. Price was not bad and about the same as everyone else that sells the same Drive. Highly recommend if tour going to Upgrade.

Easy to install in device built for 2.5 inch drive. It is a 5400 RPM drive (vs 7200) so I was concerned about speed, but it’s plenty fast for my application (it is used in a Tablo Quad OTA DVR). Pretty quiet except for occasional soft clicking sounds as heads move around. Didn’t notice that sound on the Seagate Barracuda I upgraded from. I would have bought the Barracuda again but Best Buy didn’t carry the 2 gig size except in Western Digital.

Perfect for any ps4 systems as they only fit laptop size hardrives like this one. bought it for my ps4 slim. took out the old 1terabyte and put this 2 terabyte hard drive in. Just watch a tutorial on how to properly remove the old hard drive and put the new one in its place.

Fast hard drive. Lots of space. Installed and working flawlessly.

Got this drive for my new laptop which came with a 256 SSD boot drive. I'm installing just games and large applications on this drive. Installing it was easy and formatting it gives you about 1.83 TB of free space. Games load fast and with no issues at all. Hopefully it will last long!

My PS4 was giving me all sorts of errors. After some online research, I found this to be a compatible drive. I replaced it very easily and I was back up and running! I lost my save data, but oh well. Better than buying a new PS4!
