    wd 3gb disk installed system loaded all is well so far. I have used many other wd disk drives with good performance and long running with no problems. KNOCH ON WOOD I don't want to jinx myself.

    I needed to replace an external backup drive. I was able to partition this drive in Windows 10 into two, 1.5 TB drives; then install it in a Windows 7 environment easily.

    I bought 4 of these to work in a RAID 5. You have to search the web to figure out how to remove the "parking" timeout on these. After that, they are awesomely voluminous for a RAID setup.

    This is a great hard drive to get large quantities of data on, reliability is exceptional. It isn't the fastest at 5400 rpm, but adequate for most needs.
