    I use this drive to install steam games and random goodies. drive is quiet . runs cool . and it runs games really well despite it being a mechanical drive vs ssd.

    Drive works well. Windows 7 at first did not recognize all 4T, only 1.8T. I had to track down the Intel Real Time Storage drivers and install a version from 2013 (the latest doesn't work with W7). Viola W7 then saw all 4T.

    I had a 4TB drive fail in my Drobo 5N and this was an easy swap. Performance is good.

    I have never had issue with this brand if hard drives. Make sure you know what you are doing when installing new drives. It may not show up the first time you boot up. Look online for help activating it.

    Works perfectly, easy to install, and large capacity at a great price. I always purchase WD, and now have 3 internals in my desktop. Never had an issue with any of them and will continue to only use WD.
